Good news everyone - we'll be having DOUBLE IP WEEKEND from April 25th until the end of April 27th!

Here's Udyr with more info:

"Get ready for three days of League action because we're cranking up the IP gains during the last weekend of April!

From 12am on Friday April 25th until 11:59pm on Sunday April 27th, you'll earn double IP from every match. This should up your mileage from the 30% off Rune sale that's running through the last day of April.

In addition, we wanted to give you advance notice that we'll be having a two-week long 2 for 1 Rune Page sale during May. The exact time frame will be announced at a later date, but if you want to take advantage of the promotion, start saving so you can snag the rune pages you need."

On Twitter, Udyr confirmed the participating regions as NA, EUW, EUNE, TR, RU, and OCE .

As for LAS/LAN and BR, he explained:

Server Maintenance: Patch 4.6

Good news everyone - Server maintenance for our next patch, Patch 4.6, has been scheduled!

On April 22nd at 3:00 PDT for NA, 4:00 GMT for EUW, and 1:00 GMT for EUNE, servers will go down in preparation for the upcoming patch.

Here's the NA version of the Riot NOC maintenance announcement:

"On 04/22/14, starting at 01:30 PDT, ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 4.6. At 03:00 PDT, the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 6 hours."

I'll keep you updated as more information on what the patch contains and patch notes become available. While the latest PBE content is usually a good indicator of what's to come, please remember that it is tentative and not everything may make it to live.

PAX East 2014 has kicked off and Riot's booth is flooding with awesome!

As we've seen them do in the past with Pool Party Leona, Pizza Delivery Sivir, and others, Riot hosted a live art demo where they have started to concept an Exterminator Twitch skin!
