Below you will find a comprehensive list of new content, balance changes, and whatever else  is included in the current PBE cycle! Be aware that these changes are extremely tentative, there is a possibility that things you see below will be changed or even reverted prior to the live patch.

  • 10th Anniversary loading screen tips added:
    • When Anivia turns into an egg, your chat name will become "Eggnivia". Because you're an egg.
    • In the bot lane lives a little frog named George. If you spook him, he might jump out of the Rift.
    • Pulsefire Ezreal can visit--and has visited--every single skinline universe! (Including a few he's keeping a secret.)
    • When Braum buys Tier 1 boots he says, "These are too tight". When he buys Tier 2 boots he says, "Ha ha, perfect!
    • The retired item, Philospher's Stone, hangs upon a monument in the bottom half of the jungle.  
    • Dark Star Cho'gath was designed by a player named Bryan along with the LoL dev team.
    • The Blue Sentinels will dance with Popstar Ahri if you hit Ctrl + 3. 
    • Night Hunter Rengar will put on a hat when you hit Ctrl + 5.
    • Tahm Kench will make the scuttle crab dance when you hit Ctrl + 3.
    • When Galaxy Slayer Zed kills another Zed he says, "Look at the skill. Look at the moves. Zed, what was that!?
    • When hit by Lulu's W, the champion's name will turn into Squill.
    • Pyke's knife will change color if you hit Ctrl + 5.
    • Zoe twirls, jump ropes and yo-yos with her stars if you press Ctrl + 5 while walking.
    • Kai'sa will put on her helmet if you press Ctrl + 5.
    • When Leona's passive, Sunlight, hits champs wearing shades such as Vayne, her damage will be reduced by 1.
    • Who will be the World Champion this year, on League's 10th anniversary?
    • At the end of Season 1, the player Voyboy was Rank 1 in NA.
    • Silver Scrapes was originally composed by Danny McCarthy.
    • Remember the days of 4.20 Warwick and Devourer? We don't!
    • Udyr was the first new champion released after the original forty champions.
    • In 2010, we officially lost count of Amumu's tears.

  • Another set of "Narrative" game startup tips were added:
    • King Santon of Demacia avoided civil war with a game of Tellstones, saving thousands of lives.
    • Demacians play a variant of Tellstones called “King's Gambit”, in honor of Santon the Great.
    • Despite the game's popularity across Runeterra, no one seems to know where Tellstones originated...
    • The Dauntless Vanguard play their own version of Tellstones, and use it to settle disputes within the ranks.

    • Valiant Sword Riven Prestige Edition: "Riven's destiny is greater than she knows. One day she will determine the fate of the heavens, land, and sea, and awaken the slumbering power of the dragon within her."

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

  • Base armor lowered from 44 to 40
  • Armor per level lowered from 4 to 3.5

  • Base HP increased from 616.28 to 620
  • HP per level decreased from 84.25 to 84
  • Attack speed per level increased from 2.9% to 3.65%
  • Perseverance (Passive)
    • [Removed] No longer doubles below (25/50%) health
    • Cooldown changed from 9/4 to 7 at all ranks
    • Changed from  [non-epic monsters don't break passive at level 11] to [non-epic monsters never break it]
    • Heal amount changed from [2%/8%] to [1.5-10.1%] 
  • Decisive Strike (Q)
    • Now scales with attack speed and behaves more similarly to a basic attack.
  • Courage (W) 
    • Resists per stack lowered from .33 to .25
    • Resists cap lowered from 50 to 30
    • Minion kills to max stacks increased from 150 to 160
    • [New] Gains a shield that blocks [10% health] damage that lasts for the duration
    • [Removed] No longer takes 60% less damage for the first .75 seconds
  • Judgment (E)
    • Tick changed from [5+1 per 3 levels (max 10)] to [7+1 per 20% attack speed]
    • Base damage changed from 14/18/22/26/30 to 8/12/16/20/24
    • AD ratio changed from .36/.37/.38/.39/.4 to .32/.34/.36/.38/.4
    • Now adds [+0-8] damage based on character level
    • Hits needed to shred armor increased from 4 to 6
    • [Removed] No longer deals 33% bonus damage if hitting only one enemy
    • [New] now deals [25% base damage] bonus damage to nearest enemy
    • [New] "Refunds it's remaining duration as lower cooldown if canceled early."
    • Now grants stacks of Conqueror
  • Demacian Justice (R)
    • [Removed] the Villainy passive
    • Now grants vision of target for 1 second
      • (can no longer be cancelled from losing vision)
    • Changed from [deals magic damage] to [always deals True Damage]
    • Damage changed from [175/350/525 (+28.6/33.3/40% of missing HP)] to [150/300/450 (+20/25/30% of missing HP)]

  • Attack range increased to 475 from 125
    • [due to above, W no longer increases attack range while in bush - previously increased to 450 from 125]

  • Base armor increased from 20.216 to 22
  • Iceborn Subjugation (Passive) AP ratio increased from 30% to 50%
  • Ring of Frost (W) AP ratio increased from 50% to 70%

  • Comet Spear (Q) base damage lowered from 75/115/155/195/235 to 75/110/145/180/215

  • Edge of Ixtal (Q) Base damage lowered from 80/100/120/140/160 to 60/85/110/135/160

  • AD lowered from 66 to 63
  • AD per level lowered from 3.5 to 3
  • Backstab (P)
    • Shaco's basic attack, Deceive, and Two-Shiv Poison have additional effects when striking from behind.
      • Basic attack: Deals an additional 10-25 (scaling with level) (+0.15 bAD) damage. This damage can crit.
      • Two-Shiv Poison: Deals an additional 15-50 (scaling with level) (+0.1 AP) damage.
  • Deceive (Q)
    • Stealth Duration increased from [1.5/2.25/3/3.75/4.5s] to [2.5/2.75/3/3.25/3.5s]
    • Cooldown lowered from 16/15.5/15/14.5/14s] to [12/11.5/11/10.5/10s]
    • [REMOVED] Cooldown is no longer reduced by 2.5 seconds upon triggering Deceive's bonus damage. 
    • Damage changed from [10/20/30/40/50 (+0.4 bAD)] to [25/35/45/55/65 (+0.25 bAD)]
      • This damage can crit.
      • When striking from behind, Deceive in guaranteed to crit for 130% damage.
    • AP Ratio removed.
  • Jack in the Box (W)
    • minion fear lowered from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
      • Minions and monsters can move at a maximum of 60 Movespeed.
      • Champions can move at a maximum of 100 Movespeed.
    • Now fires at all nearby targets.
    • Single-Target Damage: 35/50/65/80/95 (+0.2 AP) (unchanged)
    • AoE Damage: 15/20/25/30/35 (+0.1 AP)
  • Two-Shiv Poison (E)
    • Damage Type changed from [Physical] to [Magic]
    • Damage changed from [55/80/105/130/155 (+0.6/0.75/0.9/1.05/1.2 bAD) (+0.75 AP)] to [70/95/110/125/140 (+.08 bAD) (+0.6 AP)
    • Execute changed from [0-50% increased damage based on missing health] to [50% increased damage targets below 30% health]
  • Hallucinate (R)
    • Boxes trigger immediately, fearing enemies at the clone's death location and firing on the nearest enemies.
      • Note: Damage/ratio are down due to the dramatically increased reliability on the boxes. Overall effect of an R explosion is generally up when this is taken into account.
    • Damage lowered from [200/300/400 (+1.0 AP)] to [150/225/300 (+0.7 AP)]
    • Box Single-Target Damage: [25/50/75 (+0.15 AP)] (unchanged)
    • Box AoE Damage: 10/20/30 (+0.1 AP)
    • Fear Duration changed from [0.75/1/1.25s] to [1s]

  • Base HP increased from 499 to 500
  • Mana lowered from 360.48 to 360
  • MP5 increased from 7.34 to 8
  • Base AD increased from 59 to 61

  • [Bugfix] Hex Core stats now update on purchase instead of waiting for Viktor's next level up
  • [Bugfix] Aftershock Death Ray missiles now the same width as the initial missile (80>90)
  • [New] Chaos Storm will continue chasing champions after Viktor dies
  • Siphon Power (Q) scaling on shield changed from [8% max mana (+0.15 AP)] to [30-115 based on level (+0.15 AP)]
  • Gravity Field (W) 
    • Slow changed from 28/32/36/40/44% to 30/34/38/42/45%
    • Augment: Gravity Field changed from [stuns adds a vacuum] to [Viktor's spells now apply a slow for 20% for 1 second]
    • augment name changed to "Magnetize"
  • Chaos Storm (R)
    • Tick cadence lowered from 2s to 1s
    • Number of ticks increased from 3 to 6
    • Damage per tick lowered from [130/210/290 (+85% AP)] to [65/105/145 (+45% AP)]
    • Augment movespeed increased from 20% to 25%
      • storm min speed increased from 200 to 250
      • storm max speed increased from 300 to 325
    • [New] Chaos Storm can now move over terrain

Locket of the Iron Solari
  • Shield increased from [30 (+15 per level )] to [120 (+10 per level)]

TFT Changes
These changes are tentative and may not be complete! Always refer to official notes for the full picture!

  • Bonus attack speed increased from 30/60/90% to 50/75/100%
  • Shield increased from 300/600/900 to 400/700/1000

  • Ability second attack damage increased from 100/225/350 to 125/250/375

  • Attack speed lowered from 12% to 10%

  • Armor increased from 35 to 45

  • 6 knight damage block lowered from 65 to 60

  • 4 gunslinger random attacks increased from 2 to 3
  • 6 gunslinger random attacks increased from 3 to 5

  • 3 assassin crit chance lowered from 10% to 5%
  • 6 assassin crit chance lowered from 20% to 15%
