    Two new Hauntling variant Little Legends are now on the PBE:

    Triumphant Hauntling was awarded to players who reached Gold or higher in both ranked stages of Set 3, Galaxies. The spookiest galaxies swirled together to form these terrifyingly adorable space wraiths-- they roam the vast reaches of the universe searching for golden spatulas and friendship.

    Preseason 2021 - Item & Shop Upgrade

    The end of season is fast approaching and with that comes Preseason 2021! As stated in previous dev blogs, there will be a large item & shop overhaul that will be testing on the PBE for an extended length of time (six weeks).

    "Over the past few months, we've discussed our gameplay plans for Preseason 2021—a complete overhaul to the item system. 
    We're about to debut on PBE for an extended six-week testing period, and want to share a preview of the 22 new Mythic items you can look forward to this November, plus a few dozen new and updated Legendary items. This isn't a complete picture of all the item update has to offer, but we wanted to focus our first look on the splashiest item tiers. 
    Housekeeping note: Things will be in a pretty early state when you first see them, but expect changes to things like icons, item and effect names, visual and sound effects, stat values, and more as we polish everything up over our month and a half of PBE time! Barring massive table-flips like item additions, removals, or reworks, though, this preview page won't be updated after publishing. The item system will be immensely changed in preseason, and documenting our fine-tuning to that overhaul before it's live won't actually help players understand what to do on day 1.     Riot August added a large list of champion specific preseason changes - including Caitlyn, Jhin, Senna, Tryndamere, Yasuo, Yone + Ornn, Viktor, Zoe + Elise, Katarina, Kayle :
    These are the champion specific changes going to the PBE today (9/29) for preseason.  
    The goal of most of these changes is to ensure the champions work correctly with the new item system while maintaining compelling build choices.

    He also provided details on Volibear changes:

    Here are some experimental Voli changes that are also on PBE today! His AP build is pretty weak and @RiotLutzburg is trying some things to see if he can make it better.

    He also noted champion changes for their mana pools after the removal of Tear:

          • (Each unit is hit for a total of 3x Kat's on hits over the full 2.5s channel duration.)

      • Divine Ascent (Passive) attack speed per zeal stack changed from [6% (30% at 5 stacks)] to [30% + 10% per 100 AP at 5 stacks]

      • The Relentless Storm (Passive) attack speed now has a 4% per 100 AP ratio per stack

      • Adaptive force increased from 1.7-4.2 to 2-5
      • Heal lowered from 15% to 10%

      Presence of Mind (P2)
      • [New Effect]
      "Damaging an enemy champion increases your mana regeneration by 1.5-11 (80% for ranged) mana per second for 4 seconds. All energy users gain 1.5 energy per second, instead.
