    Fury of the Xer'Said (Passive)
    Dealing damage while un-burrowed generates Fury. 
    Burrowing consumes Fury over 5 seconds to restore up to X (25-?) health. During this time, Rek'Sai's next attack that generates Fury will grant an additional 15 bonus fury.

    Cooldown: 4 sec at all ranks 
    Burrowed Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7 
    Un-Burrowed: Rek'Sai's next 3 basic attacks within 5 seconds deal 15/35/55/75/95 (+.4 Bonus AD) bonus Physical Damage to nearby enemies. 
    Burrowed: Rek'Sai launches a burst of void-charged earth that explodes on first unit
    hit dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+.5 AP) Magic Damage and revealing enemies hit for 2 seconds.

    Burrow / Unborrow (W)
    No Cost
    Cooldown: 4 seconds at all ranks 
    Un-Burrowed: Burrow into the ground. 
    Burrowed: Un-burrow, dealing 60/110/160/210/260 (+.5 Bonus AD) Physical Damage and knocking up nearby enemies for up to 1 second based on their proximity to Rek'Sai. A unit cannot be hit by Un-burrow more than once every 10 seconds. 
    Burrowed Effects: New abilities, +15 Movement Speed, reduces vision range, disabled basic attacks, and gains Tremor Sense: Nearby enemies that move in the Fog of War have their position revealed to Rek'Sai and her allies.

    Furious Bite / Tunnel (E)
    No Cost 
    Cooldown: 12 
    Borrowed Cooldown: 20/19.5/19/18.5/18 
    Un-Burrowed: Rek'Sai bites a target dealing (80/90/100/110/120% AD) Physical Damage, increasing by up to 100% at maximum Fury. If Rek'Sai has 100 Fury, Furious Bite deals True Damage. 
    Max Damage: X 
    Burrowed: Rek'Sai tunnels forward leaving two connected Tunnel Entrances. Clicking a Tunnel Entrance will make Rek'Sai dive to the other entrance.
    Tunnel Entrances last for 10 minutes and can be destreoyed by enemies. Rek'Sai may have 8 tunnels at one time

    Void Rush (R)
    No Cost 
    Cooldown: 150/110/80
    Passive: Grants 20/40/60% Attack Speed. 
    Active: After channeling for 1.5 seconds, Rek'Sai travels to target Tunnel Entrance. Taking damage from a champion or tower will interrupt the channel.

    Voiceover & Lore

    Rek'Sai's voiceover clocks in with over 7 minutes of terrifying and beastial sounds.

    "The largest and fiercest of her species, Rek’Sai is a merciless predator that tunnels through the earth to ambush and devour her prey. Her insatiable hunger has laid waste to entire regions of the once-great Shuriman empire.     New Summoner Icons

    This cycle also includes SEVEN new summoner icons, featuring poros that appear to be from different regions around Runeterra!

    We know these first five at tied to the Legends of the Poro King featured game mode and change the appearance of your in-game poros! 

    ‘Legend of the Poro King’  featured game mode 

    Our next featured game mode, Legends of the Poro King, is now up on the PBE for testing!
    Here's L4T3NCY with information on "Legend of the Poro King":
    "This year’s Snowdown brings with it our next featured game mode… and a legend. The “Legend of the Poro King”. We’ve dramatically changed what fights on the Howling Abyss will look like, so let’s get straight into the rules: 
    Played on the Howling Abyss, Legend of the Poro King is a 5v5 Blind Draft game mode, where your goal is still to destroy the enemy team’s nexus. However, you’ll have some Poro companions with you (to throw at each other of course), be diving deep to make #bigplays and work together to summon some help from the legendary Poro King himself. 
    New summoner spells 
    When playing the Legend of the Poro King, your regular summoner spells are replaced with two new ones, made just for the mode: 
    1) Poro Toss / Poro Dash: 
    Throw a Poro a long distance, dealing true damage to the first enemy unit hit. This ability can be recast for 3 seconds after it hits an enemy to cast Poro Dash, which will dash your champion to the target hit. Dashing to the target will reduce the cooldown of Poro Toss by 5 seconds. 
    2) To the King!: 
    Passive: Hitting an enemy champion with a Poro gives your team a Poro Mark. Upon reaching 10 Poro Marks, your team summons the Poro King to fight alongside them. While the Poro King is active, no Poro Marks can be scored by either team. 
    Active: Quickly dash to the Poro King’s side. Can only be cast when the Poro King is summoned for your team. 
    The Poro King 
    The Poro King is benevolent and will aid whichever team has summoned him. He can be dispelled, but only to return again when enough favour has been curried with him. As a tanky siege minion, he brings an impressive power boost to whichever team he’s aiding. 
    His powers include: 
    -- Tanky siege minion with a LOT of health. Let him be your front line!
    -- The Poro King absorbs all Poros within his range being thrown by the enemy team, making him a powerful pushing force.
    -- The Poro King will heal nearby allied champions every 5 seconds for health and a smaller amount of mana based on the team’s average level.
    -- Every 5 seconds, the Poro King will lob out Poros in an arc around him, dealing magic damage to enemies where they land.

    Known issues:
    -- Play flow art placeholder. Coming soon.
    -- Loading screen art placeholder. Coming soon.
    -- Some VO still missing from the poros. 
    Also, for fans wondering where Showdown is this year, never fear. We’re looking to make some tweaks to that one and hopefully bring it back at some point as a smoother experience than it was the first time around. We wanted to try something new and light-hearted this year and can’t wait to see what you guys can pull off with the Poro King. Your collective mechanics are waaaaay better than anything we can manage in our playtests, so we’re looking forward to it. The dives.. oh the dives...

    The super start of the new game mode is the giant Poro King!

    The UI has a poro marks counter.

    As mentioned above, the mode gives you access to two new summoner spells - Poro Toss and To the King!

    The poros that follow you in-game and are used for your unique summoner spells also change based on which of the five new poro summoner icons you are using!

    New Summoner's Rift Music

    The new Summoner's Rift music is also now on the PBE!

    Since it is difficult to showcase how it plays organically, here's a video of all of the different sequences and transitions located in the games files.

    Winter Wonder Orianna Login Theme

    Today's patch also includes a new login animation and song! It features Winter Wonder Orianna and will likely be put up once Snowdown 2014 is upon us!

    Rek'Sai Login

    Rek'Sai now has her own login animation and music on the PBE!


    Baron is now sporting a festive hat and ear muffs to keep him warm during the holidays!

    You no longer need to sell your old vision trinket to switch to a new one - all you need to do is choose another from the shop.

    The turret inventory items that denote their special abilities "Vanguard" and "Lightning Rod" have received updated icons!

    There is now a new option to swap between Theme music on Summoner's Rift.

    To better match the new team colors, the loading screen frames for Summoner's Rift have been updated to red vs blue instead of purple vs blue.

    New Item - Zz'Rot Portal


    As briefly mentioned when the preseason itemization changes started a few months ago, a new voidling spawning Zz'Rot Portal item has been added to the game!

     The new item has a total cost of 2600 gold and builds out of Raptor's Cloak + Negatron cloak + 750g and has the following stats:
    "Zz'Rot Portal
    +40 Armor
    +50 Magic Resist
    +100% Base Health Regen 
    UNIQUE Passive - Point Runner: Builds up to +30% Movement Speed over 2 seconds while near turrets or void gates 
    UNIQUE Active: Spawns a gate at target location for 150 seconds (120 second cooldown, can't be placed near turrets). Every 4 seconds the gate spawns a volatile voidspawn  that travels down the nearest lane. These voidlings explode when attacking structures and will ignore champions. 
    Voidspawn and Void Gates get stronger based on champion level."

    While it is not noted in the item description, these voidspawn will grant you gold if they kill a minion.

    Balance Changes

    * Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.

    • Base damage  increased to 52.376 from 50.376
    • Base mana regen per second increased to 1.672 from 1.2
    • Mana Regen Per Second Per Level lowered from 0.16 to 0.15
    • Aspect of the Serpent (Passive)
    • No longer stacks on poisoned unit kill or on Twin Fang casts on enemy champions.
    • Now, stacks once every 6 seconds (10 times per minute) and for every second that an enemy champion is poisoned.
    • [Context from Stashu: Stack breakpoints adjusted to 100 / 250 / 500. Overall, these are hit sooner than the old 75/200/400 based on the new mechanics, but are definitely still up for discussion.]
    • Noxious Blast (Q)
    • Movement speed buff  now 20% at all ranks from 10/15 /20/25 /30%.
    • [Context from Stashu: Delay changed to actually function as intended (previously hitting between 0.25 and 0.5s). Now has a 0.4s delay. With the reliability changes, it was a bit too reliable, so we set the delay at 0.4.]
    • Twin Fang (E)
    • Mana cost changed to 35/45/55/65/75 from 30/45/60/75/90.
    • Now adds a debuff on the target which amplifies further poison damage by 20% for 5 seconds, stacks up to 2 times (40%).
    • AP Ratio changed to 0.55 at all ranks from 0.4/0.45/0.5/0.55/0.6
    • [Context from Stashu: Since we're adding damage elsewhere on the kit (mostly through this debuff), we decided to take a bit out of Twin Fang's late game.

    • Feast (R) now reads " If it kills a minion or monster, 50% of the cooldown and mana cost are refunded."
    • Feast (R) cooldown increased to 80 at all ranks from 60 at all ranks.

    • Dread (Passive) is no longer an auraNow reads "Fiddlesticks' spells and attacks reduce his target's Magic Resistance by 10 for 3 seconds."
    • Dark Wind (E)  silence duration increased to 1.25 from 1.2
    • Dark Wind (E) can no longer apply silence to the same target more than once per cast.

    • Counterstrike (E) cooldown lowered to 16/14/12/10/8 from 18/16/14/12/10
    • Grandmaster's Might (R) Flat Bonus magic resist now 20/35/50  from 25/35/45]
    • Grandmaster's Might (R) Bonus armor now 20/35/50 + 50% bonus AD from 25/35/45 +30% Bonus AD

    • Hyper Charge (Cannon W) cooldown decreased to 13/11/9/7/5 from 14/12/10/8/6 
    • Hyper Charge (Cannon W) cooldown now starts after the shots are fired rather than as soon as ability is activated
    • Sentinel (W) minimum damage to minions now 75-125/100-150/125-175/150-200/175-225 based on missing health from 100/125/150/175/200
    • Sentinel (W) mana cost lowered to 20 at all ranks from 25
    • Rend (E) several changes:
    • Tooltip has been changed up a bit - instead of  % damage increase per spear, it now displays the actual number the damage is increased by.
    • Mana cost increased to 40 from 35 
    • Now restores 20 mana ( up to twice per cast ) if Rend kills target.
    • Damage increase per extra spear increased to 10/14/19/25/32 (.2/.225/.25/.275/.3 AD) from 5/9/14/20/27 (.15/.18/.21/.24/.27 AD)

    • Electrical Surge (W) active tooltip now also includes " Sends a surge of electricity through all nearby targets afflicted by Mark of the Storm or caught in Slicing Maelstrom,"
    • Slicing Maelstrom (R) - tooltip has been expanded and a few things have been changed.
    • Time between strikes strikes now .25 from .5/.4/.33 
    • Time between strikes on same target now .5 from .5/.4/.33
    • [Context: Going to just say now that I'm not 100% on if I have sussed out all the changes for Kennen's R here. His old tooltip is very minimal and there are so many parts the file is a bit hard to read. I did my best with info from the new tooltip and the old expanded tool tip here.]

    • Lightslinger (Passive) damage of second shot reduced to 30/40/50% (at 1/7/13) from 50%
    • Lightslinger (Passive) duration down to [~2/3] seconds from 6.

    • Unspeakable Horror (E) now includes "Passive: Nocturne gains massively increased movement speed toward feared enemies"
    • [Note: With base movement speed, his speed is briefly increased from 345 to 558 when running towards feared enemies. Video demo here.]

    • Base attack speed lowered to  0.625 from 0.679

    • Base Health increased to 600 from 599.6
    • Base mana increased to 400 from 287.2 
    • Arctic Assault (Q) damage changed to 80/125/170/215/260 (+.4 AP) from 40/70/100/130/160 (+.4 AP)(+4/6/8/10/12% of Target's Max HP)
    • Flail of the Northern Winds (W) initial hit damage changed to 4/6/8/10/12% (+3% per 100 AP) of Target's Max HP from 40/60/80/100/120 (+.3 AP).
    • Flail of the Northern Winds (W) AoE damage changed to 40/70/100/130/160 (+.6 AP)(+4/6/8/10/12% total Health) from 80/120/160/200/240(+.6 AP)(+10% Bonus HP)
    • Flail of the Northern Winds (W) mana cost reduced to 40/35/30/25/20 from 40 at all ranks
    • Permafrost (E) cooldown lowered to 10/9/8/7/6 from 11
    • Permafrost (E) damage lowered to 60/90/120/150/180 (+.5 AP) from 60/110/160/210/260 (.5 AP)
    • Permafrost (E) slow duration reduced to 1.5 at all ranks from 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5

    • Shadow Dash (E) cost reduced to 100 energy from 120 energy

    • Twin Bite (Q) cooldown reduced to 9/8/7/6/5 from 10/9/8/7/6
    • Burnout (W) now deals 20% bonus damage to monsters.

    • Base HP Regen per Second reduced to .4 from .9352
    • HP Regen Per Second Per Level reduced to .1 f rom .14
    • Astral Infusion (W) AP ratio for the self heal from hitting enemy champion with Starcall has been increased! 
    • (minimum) .4 AP from .2 AP
    • (maximum) .8 AP from .4 AP

    • Hunter's Call (W) duration reduced to 6 seconds from 10 seconds.
    • Infinite Duress (R) total damage reduced to 150/250/350 damage from 250/335/420

    • Movement Speed increased to 345 from 340
    • Steel Tempest (Q) cooldown now 4 sec at all ranks from 5/4.75/4.5/4 sec

    • Elastic Slingshot (E) damage increased to 80/130/180/230/280 from 80/120/160/200/240.
    • Elastic Slingshot (E) tooltip now includes "In addition, Zac will spawn extra chunks if he hit multiple enemy champions."


    Abyssal Scepter
    • Now builds out of the newly readded Negatron cloak + Blasting Wand instead of 2x Null Magic Mantles + Blasting Wand
    Athene's Unholy Grail, Chalice of Harmony, Mikael's Crucible
    • Unique passive  - Mana Font increased to 2% missing mana every  5 seconds from 1.5%

    Enchantment: Devourer
    •  Magic damage on hit lowered to 25 from 40

    Enchantment: Warrior
    • Now grants "Unique Passive - Weapon Specialist: +10% physical damage to champions" REVERTED

    All of the jungle monsters on the Twisted Treeline map have received significant changes to their stats, rewards, and spawn times. Each camp also now has a smite bonus!

    Dragon Slayer Buff

    • The Dragon Slayer buff has received a few changes
    • Dragon's Might has been reduced to 6% from 8%
    • +15% damage to towers and buildings is now granted at  two stacks instead of four. 
    •  +15% damage to minions and monsters is now granted at four stacks instead of two.

    Summoner Spells
    • Now lists that it can hold two charges and regains a charge every 60 seconds.  REVERTED.
