6/29 PBE Update: Chromas, Clash, Loot, & Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 11.14 PBE cycle, today's patch includes chroma, loot, and Clash assets, as well as tentative balance changes!

VFX Update

Lucian's base VFX were updated as part of the upcoming Ruination event:


  • Ascended Pantheon Prestige Edition skin bio tweaked:
    • "Pantheon was defeated once, but with all of Runeterra on the line now Atreus must defeat it himself. Seizing back control from the Aspect of War, Atreus harnesses the celestial power of Targon itself-- briefly becoming not just a vessel or an Aspect, but something new. Something immensely powerful and entirely his own."
  • Sentinel Olaf chroma assets added:
  • Clash assets added:

  • Sentinel Olaf splash flipped:
  • A few loading screens tweaked (zoomed, centered, etc):

  • Reckoning pass store image updated, showing an icon with an unknown skin (blue hair, middle) new traits, skins, Avatar, and Sentinel Pengu:

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & potentially experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes from earlier this cycle! These are not official notes and may be incomplete.

Dr. Mundo
  • HP5 reverted from 6.5 to 68
  • HP regen per level reverted from .16 to .15
  • Goes Were He Pleases (Passive)
    • health regen changed from [2%] to [1-2% based on level]
    • Cooldown increased from 45-15 to 60-15
  • Infected Bonesaw (Q)
    • Monster damage cap increased from 300/350/400/450/500 to 350-500
    • Health cost refund on monsters now 100%
  • Blunt Force Trauma (E)
    • [New] Always punts small monsters immediately

  • AD increased from 66 to 68

  • Base movespeed increased from 340 to 350

  • Triggerseed (E) shield increased from 80/110/140/170/200 to 80/115/150/185/220

  • Call of the Void (Q) AP ratio lowered from 65%  to 55%

  • Umbra Blades (Passive) [New] Passive now 50% effective on minions

  • Queen's Wrath / Prey Seeker (Q) 
    • unburrowed damage per hit increased from 20/25/30/35/40 to 21/27/33/39/45
    • burrowed damage increased from 60/90/120/150/180 to 60/95/130/165/200

  • High Note (Q) damage increased from [55/70/85/100/115 (+40/45/50/55/60% AP)] to [60/75/90/105/120 (+45/50/55/60/65% AP)]

  • Base HP lowered from 587 to 560
  • Base movespeed lowered from 350 to 345

Tahm Kench
  • An Acquired Taste (Passive) damage changed from [2.% Max HP] to [12-60 (+2.5% bonus HP)]
  • Tongue Lash (Q) 
    • [New] now also deals damage from An Acquired Taste
    • Heal changed from [6/7/8/9/10% Missing HP] to [15/20/25/30/35 + 4/4.5/5/5.5/6% Missing HP]
  • Abyssal Dive (W) Cooldown and mana refund increased from 30% to 40%
  • Devour (R)
    • Shield increased from [300/450/600 (+100% AP)] to [400/500/600 (+100% AP)]
    • Ally self slow lowered from 40/25/10% to 30/20/10%

  • Starlight's Touch (Q) mana cost lowered from 70/75/80/85/90 to 65/70/75/80/85
  • Dazzle (E) mana cost lowered from 60 to 40

Xin Zhao
  • Wind Becomes Lightning (W) cooldown increased from 12/10.5/9/7.5/6 to 12/11/10/9/8

  • Mana lowered from 480 to 420

  • Health lowered from 300 to 350
  • Slow changed from [90%, decaying over 3 seconds] to [40% for 3 seconds]

TFT Traits
  • 9 unit AD increased from 10 to 12

  • 2 unit AP increased from 20% to 25%
  • 4 unit AP increased from 50% to 55%
  • 6 unit AP increased from 80% to 85%

  • 6 unit AD & AP reverted from 55 to 60

  • 6 unit stats lowered from 60 to 55
  • 9 unit stats lowered from 100 to 95

  • 2 unit max health reverted from 35% to 30%
  • 6 unit max health reverted from 85% to 90%
  • 8 unit max health reverted from 125% to 130%

  • 3 unit attack speed increased from 5% to 10%
  • 5 unit attack speed increased from 50% to 55%
  • 7 unit attack speed increased from 125% to 130%

  • 2 unit cc immune duration reverted from 6s to 5s
  • 3 unit cc immune duration reverted from 10s to 8s

  • 4 unit attack speed increased from 60% to 65%
  • 6 unit attack speed increased from 110% to 120%
  • 8 unit attack speed increased from 195% to 200%

TFT Champions

Tier 1
  • Damage reduction lowered from 40/50/60% to 35/45/60%
Tier 2
  • Damage increased from 160/180/200 to 170/185/200

Tier 3
  • Damage lowered from 250/350/700 to 250/350/650
  • Bonus true damage lowered from 25/35/65 to 25/35/70

Tier 4
  • Damage lowered from 950/1200/4000 to 900/1150/4000

  • Shield increased from 225/350/2000 to 300/450/3000

Tier 5
  • Shield duration lowered from 5s to 4s

  • Damage increased from 150/250/2000 to 150/300/5000
  • Stun duration increased from 2.5/3/10 to 2.5/3.5/10

Sentinel Vayne
"Updates to Sentinel Vayne:
  • Reduced grunting on auto attacks
  • In-game hair will be darkened
  • Dance - To clarify, not all legendary skins will have music added and this is the case here. She does, however, have additional SFX that we hope all of you will enjoy!
  • Splash art hair - We've received a mixed response to her hair and after further discussion, will move forward keeping it as is.

Sentinel Irelia
"Edited to add PBE Feedback Notes
  • We will be making adjustments to Irelia's hair.
    • This includes slight texture tweaks, as well as weighting adjustments to make her hair feel less stiff during her animations. This isn't a re-design of the hair, but tweaks to the existing rig and model.
Changes should be on PBE on June 29th."

  • We won't be making any changes to the Q audio, we received very mixed feedback from the community so it was best to not change this!
  • We acknowledge your wider concerns about the dissonance between skin models in-game and the splash art, as such appropriate discussions are being had to improve our internal process. I likely won't be able to share that discussion or process with you, but hopefully the results will be able to speak for themself in future content.
