10/25 PBE Update: Plants and more tentative balance changes!

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the three week 6.22 PBE cycle, today's update includes more pre-season plant changes and other tentative balance changes!

Plant Spawn System Iteration 10/25 

Following a few days of testing and feeback, several changes for the new plants system hit the PBE today.

Here's Riot Gmang with more information:
"Hey everybody, 
Thanks for trying out plants and letting us know how they played. We've read a lot and are using it to inform the design. Some of the concerns we want to address right away: 
  • "Plant spawns (especially Blast Cones) feel too random and can't be planned around."
  • "Plants are adding too much clutter." 
So, based on recent feedback (especially PBE and some internal feedback), we've done a significant iteration on the plant spawn system: 
  • The locations where Blast Cones can spawn are no longer randomized, and fewer will spawn
    • The "game start" Blast Cones now represent the only possible spawn locations
    • Removed most Blast Cone spawn locations; total per quadrant: 5-6 -> 2
    • Max Blast Cones alive at any given time per quadrant: 3 -> 2
    • Respawn time now begins on corpse cleanup instead of "Ready" state
  • Respawn times increased across the board
  • Seedling growth time increased: 30 seconds -> 60 seconds
    • (This is the stage of a plant life cycle where it's scoutable but not usable yet.)
  • Made other small adjustments to plant positions
    • Nudged some Honeyfruit spawns so they aren't "inside walls" or obscured by terrain as much
    • Moved the Scryer's Bloom spawn location between Blue Buff and mid lane a little away from mid (towards river) 
These were submitted to the PBE code on 10/24 (should appear on the 10/25 build), so the details of the old system explanation will be a bit outdated.

Miscellaneous

  • Worldbreaker Nautilus' splash has been properly flipped for the champion page. [New]
  • [Few new or tweaked icons for the new masteries added. The new tank mastery icon has been corrected in game to be proper icon seen on 2017 changes page. ]

Champions
Akali

  • Mark of the Assassin (Q) [newNow adds Grievous Wounds for 4 seconds when target is below 40% health.
  • Twilight Shroud (W) cast time back to .25
  •  Crescent Slash (E) now refunds 60% cooldown if it kills an enemy

LeBlanc
[REMINDERLeBlanc currently has a larger scope rework on the PBE as part of the assassin update.]
  • Mimic (R) cooldown for Shadow of the Rose changed 160/140/120 to 150

Rengar
[REMINDERRengar currently has a larger scope rework on the PBE as part of the assassin update.]
  • Bonetooth Necklace (Passive) time for kill to get credit increased to 1.5 from 1.
  • Savagery (Q) [tooltip added "If cast while in a leap, Savagery is postponed to the end of the leap."].

Items
Serrated Dirk
  • Lethality lowered to 10 from 15

Duskblade of Draktharr
  • Lethality lowered to 15 from 20
  • Added to tooltip for Nightstalker - "(lasts for 4 seconds after being seen by an enemy champion)"

Edge of Night
  • Lethality lowered to 15 from 20
  • Unique Active - Night's Veil cooldown increased to 45 from 30

Jungle
Rift Herald*
  • Spawn time increased to 10 minutes from 6 minutes.
  • On spawn Attack damage lowered to 119 from 147
