[UPDATED] 3/29 PBE Update: Ascension returns for Rotating Game Mode Testing & More Tentative Balance Changes

[UPDATE: As part of the Rotating Game Mode Queue testing, Ascension has returned to the PBE! ]

The PBE has been updated! Today's update includes the  return of Ascension as a part of the Rotating Game Mode testing, removal of the WIP Cassiopeia changes, tentative balance changes for Aurelion Sol, Kindred , Nidalee, and Poppy, and more!

Ascension Up for PBE Testing

As part of the rotating game mode queue testing, Ascension is now back on the PBE for testing!
Here's Riot Stephiroth with more information:
"Hello Summoners! ^o^ 
We have enabled Ascension for testing on PBE! 
1. We have updated the textures on Crystal Scar! (Middle platform is now 10% more Shurima! :P) 
2. We have updated some items like the Relics you capture on Ascension 
Known Bugs: 
1. On low and very low settings, the ground textures become corrupted -- We are working on this! 
2. Under some circumstances, Xerath may become unkillable :( We are working on this! If you find a specific repro for this, please comment on this thread! 
If you have any other bugs or feedback to report, feel free to post them here! 
May the glory of Shurima be preserved!"

  • 2016 MSI Wildcard summoner icons for LAN and LAS have been changed slightly, moving the NORTE and SUR under the emblem from in the middle of it.

Balance Changes

Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.

Aurelion Sol
  • Starsurge (Q) Stun duration lowered to 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 from 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2
  • Voice of Light (R):
    • Slow lowered to 40/50/60% from 60/70/80%
    • Slow duration changed to [2 seconds] rather than [decaying over 4 seconds]

  • Dance of Arrows (Q) [previous changes to lower base damage and increase ratio reverted.]

  • Pounce (Cougar W ) [need to confirm - damage changed to 60/110/160/210 from 65/110/155/200]

  • Hammer Shock (Q):
    • Damage lowered to 35/55/75/95/115 from 40/60/80/100/120 
      • [NOTE: Still a nerf vs live. Live damage currently 40/65/90/115/140.]
    • Maximum health damage increased to 7% from 6%.
