Black Market Brawlers

Black Market Brawlers, our newest featured game mode,  is now available for testing!
This new mode is draft with each team having three bans and is played on Summoner's Rift. It also uses the new Bilgewater announcer pack!

Featured Game Mode Summary
Essentially, you perform mini-quests (listed in tooltip below) to acquire "Krakens" and then use that currency to purchase and upgrade a special brawler minion that spawns with each minion wave.

Brawlers
Upon accumulating your first 5 Krakens, you'll be able to purchase is one of four distinct brawlers each with their own specialization and abilities. Choose wisely as you can only purchase one of these!

Razorfin

Ironback

Plundercrab
Ocklepod
Brawler Upgrades
Over the course of the game you will have the opportunity to purchase additional upgrades for your brawler minion further improving its abilities and stats.
It is worth noting that upgrades go into effect on the next minion wave after the purchase and do not apply to already spawned and active brawler minions.

Black Market
Another aspect is the Black Market where you'll find a slew of deadly new items! A note from yesterday's announcement - Morellonomicon is not available in this game mode so don't go looking for it.
Click on a thumbnail above to enlarge the screenshots and remember, you can easily flick through them using the arrow keys!

There is also a special boot enchantment that can be purchased for any set of tier 2 boots:

Butcher's Bridge Returns

Butcher's Bridge, an upcoming Bilgewater themed ARAM map, is back for another round of testing and polishing on the PBE.

Here's Riot Stephiroth with a small update on the map now that it is back on the PBE!
"Hey all! ^__^v
You've probably noticed by now, but the map is enabled ! Yay!
Things you should notice in this build:
  • Optimization! We've made a lot of optimization changes, and we'd love to hear your feedback! If you're still getting low FPS, please post a DXDiag of your system and the general range of performance you're experience
  • The bushes are greener!
  • The ship sailing in the river is no longer a sp00ky gh0st ship.
  • Things that are still broken:
Keep the feedback comin'! :D"
If you're not caught up make sure to read more about it in our previous coverage or take a glance at the official announcement.
