Below you will find a comprehensive list of new content, balance changes, and whatever else  is included in the current PBE cycle! Be aware that these changes are extremely tentative, there is a possibility that things you see below will be changed or even reverted prior to the live patch.

New Chroma

Four new chroma each for Sacred Sword Janna and Eternal Sword Yi are now on the PBE:

New Summoner Icons

Two new summoner icons are now on the PBE. These look to be for the Worlds Pick'em:

Four new Immortal Journey themed icons were also added to the PBE:

An adora-bee new summoner icon was also added to the PBE to go along with Singed's new skin:

New Ward Skin

A new ward skin, the Divine Sword ward, is now on the PBE. This matches the Immortal Journey skins:

Divine Sword Ward

Champion Select filtering, sorting, and favoriting now enabled on PBE! 

New filtering is now available in champ select. Here's SapMagic with more info:
"Hey guys! We just activated some new features in champ select to help you decide what to play. Notably, we're testing a handful of changes and we hope you'll give us some feedback!

We're replacing role filters (Assassin, Tank, Mage, etc.) with position filters (Top, Mid, Jungle, etc.) 
We think we can do a better job of helping you narrow down your choices when you're playing an off-position and our existing role filters don't serve that need very well. Position filters can help you find commonly-picked champions for whatever you're playing. 
  • Displays a variety of champions for each position based on data from the previous patch
  • Every champion is in at least one filter
  • New champions will show up the patch after they're released 
We chose to use patch data to help us populate the filters because we want to avoid the data getting stale or players feeling like we're deciding what should be played where. 
Sort champions by highest to lowest champion mastery points 
You can find your mains more easily when you sort by mastery. We're not showing things like current mastery level or tokens earned for now, but we may consider these in the future. This should still help you narrow down what you want to play to get the best match-up or synergy with your team. 
Right-click champions to add as favorite by position and find them quickly in champ select 
You can sort by favorites to have them bubble up to the top of the grid and they work with the new position filters. If you play Diana at Jungle and Mid, add her as a favorite for both positions. Then, whenever you're filtering by mid champions, she'll show up - even if she isn't one of the suggested champs from the last patch. 
See champions you haven't earned a Hextech chest with in non-ranked queues 
Now you should be able to easily find champions to play to earn those sweet Hextech chests. Since temptation is a leading cause of lost LP, we only show you this filter in non-ranked queues that are eligible for chests. 
We'd love your feedback on any issues you find while you're testing out the feature, and we'll see you on the Rift!"

Nexus Siege is now available for PBE testing!

Now that we've kicked over to the 7.19 version, we have our next upcoming game mode: Nexus Siege! 
It's been a while since we've released this one :) Here's some of the new champions that have come out since the last time we did Nexus Siege: 
  • Xayah
  • Rakan
  • Kayn 
    • Yes, you can Shadow Step into the firey spawn pads of the enemy team... but we don't recommend it! D: 
  • Ornn
    • Yes, you can totally forge deployables from outside of the base! 
Since last time, we've mostly made bug fixes, including: 
  • Xayah and Rakan tandem recall didn't work
  • Kayn transform didn't work properly between rounds
  • Warwick Blood Hunt (W) particles no longer persist through the 2nd round.
  • Sion and Nasus now get the correct amount of Health/Siphoning Strike stacks when killing deployables.

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

  • Dark Flight (Q) 
    • "he's also unstoppable during Q once he starts his dive. Can still be interrupted on his way up."
  • Massacre (R) active attack range gain increased from 175 to 225

[Context - Tough Design Choices made for Azir in 7.19]
  • Base HP increased from 524.4 to 540
  • HP regen lowered from 1.3848 to 1.38
  • Base movespeed increased from 325 to 335
  • Conquering Sands (Q)
    • AP ratio lowered from 50% to 30%
    • Cast range lowered from 875 to 720
    • Hit box increased to be ~70 units longer.
    • Cooldown changed from 10/9/8/7/6 to 11/9.5/8/6.5/5
    • Base Damage increased from 65/85/105/125/145 to 70/100/130/160/190
  • Arise! (W)
    • Base STAB damage changed - increased at all levels but slightly reduced at level 18.
      • New values: 60/62/64/66/68/75/80/85/95/105/115/125/135/145/155/165/175/185
    • Per Level Soldier Stab Damage scaling - increased
    • Recharge time lowered from 10/9/8/7/6 to 8/7.5/7/6.5/6
    • Cast range increased from 450 to 500
    • Soldier duration increased from 9s to 10s
    • Azir Basic Attack Command - "cast time reduced from 0.5s to 0.35s"
    • Soldier Deactivation Range - "decreased from 800 to 660"
    • Soldiers can no longer attack wards or trinkets.
    • AP on active lowered from 70% to 60%
    • [new effect] grants Azir an additional 20/30/40/50/60% attack speed for 5 seconds whenever he summons or has 3 or more soldiers out on the field
  • Shifting Sands (E)
    • Shield now has a 70% AP Ratio
    • Azir's E now grants him a shield immediately.
    • Shield duration has been lowered from 4 seconds to 1.5 seconds.
    • [new effect] if Azir hits an enemy champions, he halts his dash and instantly prepares a new Sand Soldier (W)
  • Emperor's Divide (R)
    • Cooldown lowered from 140/120/110 to 120/105/90.
    • Wall size increased from 4/5/6 soldiers to 5/6/7 soldiers
    • "Wall Soldiers now only interrupt enemy dashes over them while the soldiers themselves are moving. After reaching their final destination, Soldiers now behave as normal terrain."

[All changes reverted, Meddler notes they will be back for testing in a later cycle.]
  • Pillar of Flame (W) 
    • [New Effect] "Brand gains 20/25/30/35/40 mana if this ability kills a unit."

  • Base HP lowered from 524.4 to 475
  • Base attack speed increased from .543 to .568
  • Attack speed per level increased from 2% to 4%
  • Basic attack delay lowered from .15 to .1
  • Base HP regen lowered from 1.1348 to 1.13
  • Headshot (Passive) 
    • "Works on turrets" 
  • Piltover Peacemaker (Q) damage to targets beyond first changed from [50% less] to [33% less].
  • Yordle Snap Trap (W)
    • Headshot damage increase increased from 10/55/100/145/190 to 40/90/140/190/240
    • AD changed from 60% tAD to 40/55/70/85/100% bonus AD.
    • Trap ground duration lowered from 90 seconds to 30/40/50/60/70 seconds
    • Recharge time lowered from 45/32.5/20/12.5/10 to 30/35/40/45/50
    • Vision duration lowered from 8 to 3

  • Base AD lowered from 51.956 to 46
  • HP per level lowered from 78 to 70
  • Base HP increased from 487.04 to 525
  • Attack range increased from 475 to 550
  • Attack Speed per level increased from 2.61 to 2.95

  • Basic attack missile speed increased from 1200 to 1600
  • Auto attack delay lowered from 0.1 to 0.08
  • Tailwind (Passive)
    • "Janna always benefits from Tailwind's speed increase."

  • Howling Gale (Q)
    • mana cost lowered from 90/105/120/135/150 to 60/80/100/120/140
    • cooldown changed from 14/13/12/11/10 to 12 at all ranks
    • base range increased from 850 to 1000
    • bonus range per second charged lowered from 35% to 25%
    • [New Effect] "Howling Gale always reaches it's destination in 1.5 seconds."
  • Zephyr (W)
    • Range lowered from 600 to 550
      • Repertoir noted this is "from 600 (center to center) to 550 (edge to edge)"
    • Cooldown changed from 12 at all ranks to 8 at all ranks.
    • Bonus movement speed lowered from 9/11/13/15/17% to 6/7/8/9/10%
    • Slow duration lowered from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
  • Eye of the Storm (E)
    • Cooldoown changed from 10 at all ranks to 18/16/14/12/10

  • Brutal Strikes (W)
    • [New Effect] "While Granite Shield is active, this bonus is tripled to x."
    • Armor increase lowered from 15/20/25/30/35% to 10/15/20/25/30%

  • Base HP regen increased from 1.0848 to 1.3

  • Dark Matter (W) 
    • Cooldown lowered from 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 to 8 at all ranks

Xin Zhao

  • Three Talon Strike (Q):
    • Damage per strike changed from 15/30/45/60/75 (20% AD) to 15/20/25/30/35 (40% bAD)
      • Extra Flat Damage per hit lowered from 15/30/45/60/75 to 15/20/25/30/35
      • AD scaling per hit changed from 20% AD to 40% bonus AD
  • [NEW] Wind Becomes Lightning (W)

Xin Zhao slashes in front of himself with his spear, then thrusts it forward.

Cast time is reduced with Attack Speed provided from items and levels (minimum of 0.4 seconds). Current cast time: [0.6 - 0.4]
Deals 50% less damage to minions.
Lifesteal is 33% effective on both attacks.
Extends the current duration of Xin Zhao's other abilities by

  • Audacious Charge (E)
    • Magic damage lowered from 70/110/150/190/230 to 50/75/100/125/150.
    • Slow increased from 25/30/35/40/45% to 50% at all rank.
    • Slow duration lowered from 2 seconds to .5 seconds.
    • [New Effect] "Charging grants Xin Zhao 40/45/50/55/60% attack speed for 5 seconds."
  • Crescent Guard (R)
    • Renamed from Crescent Sweep to Crescent Guard
    • Cooldown lowered from 120/110/100 to 100 at all ranks.
    • [New Effect] "For 3 seconds after casting this ability, Xin Zhao has increased Awareness and will completely block damage from enemies that are far away. Xin Zhao's attacks and spell casts increase the duration of Awareness by 0.3 seconds each


Ardent Censer
    • Passive effect's Attack speed bonus changed from [25%] to [20-35% based on target's level].
    • Passive changed from [attacks drain 25 health on-hit] to [attacks deal an additional 20 - 35 on-hit (based on target's level)]
    • [New Effect] Unique passive's attack speed/on-hit bonus now also applies to the caster when used on an ally. - [Context]

    Bramble Vest
    • Total cost increased from 900 to 1000
      • Combine cost increased from 300 to 400
    • Damage reflect lowered from 20 to 15

    Righteous Glory
    • Price increased from 2500 to 2650
