Below you will find a comprehensive list of new content, balance changes, and whatever else  is included in the current PBE cycle! Be aware that these changes are extremely tentative, there is a possibility that things you see below will be changed or even reverted prior to the live patch.

New Item Icons - Abyssal Mask and Guardian Angel

Abyssal Scepter has been renamed to Abyssal Mask and has a brand new item icon!

Guardian Angel also has a new item icon.

Dragon Fist Lee Sin Tweaks

Two tweaks for Dragon Fist Lee Sin this cycle- one to the splash and one in-game!

The Dragon Fist Lee Sin splash art has been tweaked, making his back design yellow instead of red. 

To go along with this, Dragon Fist Lee Sin's shirt now changes to yellow when he uses R
This change also carries over to his chroma.

Missions now available for testing 

The new Missions went now live for testing on the 7/11 PBE! These are small quests, missions or objectives to complete that reward various types of different loot.
 Here's Riot Martlet with more information:
"Hey, I hope you noticed the new Missions system on PBE with a bunch of placeholder missions. As a recap of the feature, check out the intro post here. We want to test out the functionality of Missions with some placeholder content (these missions won’t go live). These placeholders will exercise the system’s capabilities when getting new missions, making progress on a mission, completing one & getting the correct reward. 
Here is the list of missions we’re testing out and how they generally should function. If you see anything odd or have feedback, please let us know. 
We’re really excited to get this to live and hope you are too! As we get closer we’ll give more and more info. 
Mission List:
  • 2 chains of 3 Missions where you need to complete the last one to get the next
  • 1 Mission that starts on Saturday and 1 Mission that starts on Sunday
  • 1 Mission where the objective is an accumulation of completing other Missions
  • 1 Mission where the objective is kills/assists
  • 2 Missions where you need to play on a specific map
  • 1 Mission becomes available if you have “banner of the serpent” ward skin"
Here's the various missions currently up as an example. Be aware these are placeholder examples, not actual quests that will go live:
  • Thief of Time (1/3): Play 1 Game as Ekko
    • Disables Shield of Light
    • Mission Reward: Project Ekko Icon
  • A Legend Rises: Get 10 Kills and/or Assists
    • Mission Reward: Key Fragment
  • Reach the Peak: Complete 3 other missions
    • Mission Reward: Gemstone
  • Serpent Acolyte: Win 2 games with at least 10 Kills and/or Assists
    • Must own Manner of the Serpent Ward
    • Mission Reward: Hextech Chest
  • Shield of Light (1/3): Play 1 game as Leona
    • Disables Thief of Time

10 Bans Now Enabled on PBE.

The upcoming 10 Bans system is now on the PBE for testing for planned launch in 7.11. Remember that in this new system all players ban simultaneously.

Here's Sapmagic with a PBE thread on 10 bans for PBE testing! 
"Hey guys! I hope you've had a chance to check out our new 10 bans feature on PBE. Check out the post for a quick recap of how it works! We want to test the feature for stability before it goes live in NA and then all regions shortly after. You can help us make sure everything's working as intended by queueing up and playing a few games on Summoner's Rift. 
There are just a few things to note:
  • We're still polishing up the feature, so there may be some missing sounds or rough visuals 
  • We may still adjust phase timers (e.g., ban phase duration) as we look at feedback 
  • It is intended that both teams can ban the same champ - we think this preserves agency (e.g., I don't want to play against Amumu) without adding a lot of additional complexity or time to champ select 
  • If you choose anything during ban phase, you shouldn't dodge, even if you don't lock it in or it's banned by someone else 
We'd love your feedback on any issues you find while you're testing out the feature, and we'll see you on the Rift!"

Skin Purchase in Champ Select up for testing on PBE 

Skins can now once again be purchased in champion select in the updated client!

Here's Riot Pabro with more info from the PBE boards:
"Hello Fam! We have been working on getting Skin Purchasing in Champ Select up and running again. We are pleased to bring it to PBE for testing before a launch in the next few patches. We are working out some kinks, so please have at it! 
Known Issues: 
  • No sound on purchase icon click. 
  • 0 RP/ 0 IP products still produce a purchase modal on click (there shouldn't be any of these on PBE, but you never know). 
  • No celebration after purchase. 
  • Purchasing is not locked a short time prior to game start." 

Doom Bots of Doom PBE LCU Testing

Doom Bots of Doom has returned for LCU PBE testing!

PBE boards feedback thread from Riot Stephiroth:
"Hello Summoners! 
As we implement more modes into the new League Client, we will be shipping them to PBE early for testing! For this cycle, we are enabling Doom Bots for testing, so we can bring it back in a future patch! 
We do have some bugs currently with Doom Bots that we will be fixing in the next few days, specifically: 
  • Doom Bots shows up in the Co-Op vs AI tab, instead of the normal spot Rotating Modes show up. 
  • There is a rare crash with Wukong Bot. This will cause you to see the "Attempting to Reconnect" message. If you receive this and there is a Wukong bot in your game, your game may be prematurely ended. 
  • There is currently a Champion Select bug where you cannot select Champions already selected by the Doom Bots (Doom Bots draft!?)  
Also this round, we have retired the Galio Doom Bot and fixed a slew of bugs from the previous release.

Balance Changes

Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical or experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be lacking context or other changes that didn't make it in or were implemented in an earlier patch this cycle! These are not official notes.

  • Fox-Fire (W) AP ratio lowered from 40% to 30%
  • Charm (E) AP ratio increased from 50% to 60%
  • Spirit Rush (R) AP ratio lowered from 30% to 25%

  • Attack Speed
    • Base attack speed lowered from 0.568 to 0.543 - pic.
    • [Passive attack speed bonus increased from 10% to 15%
  • Headshot (P) ~ "Headshot no longer stacks multiple times per attack with Hurricane." -src.

Dr. Mundo
  • Base damage growth increased from 3 to 3.5
  • Burning Agony (W) magic damage per half second increased from 17.5/25/32.5/40/47.5 to 20/27.5/35/42.5/50

  • Attack growth increased from 1.7 to 2.26 
  • Mark of the Kindred (Passive)
    • No longer grants Lamb bonus % current health damage on her basic attacks
    • Every 4 marks increases Kindred’s basic attack, Dance of Arrows and Mounting Dread’s cast range. The first 4 marks increase their ranges by 75, while every 4 marks after increase their ranges by 25.
    •  Now amplifies all of Kindred’s basic abilities in the ways mentioned below on tooltips-  
      • Dance of Arrows bonus attack speed - 5% per stack.
      • Wolf's Frenzy bonus current health damage increased by 0.5% per stack.
      • Mounting Dread bonus missing health damage increased by 0.5% per stack.
  • Dance of Arrows (Q)
    • No longer gains base damage per stack of passive.
    • [new] Now grants Kindred 10% attack speed for 4 seconds on cast, increased by 5% per stack of Mark of the Kindred
    • AD ratio changed from [20% total AD] to [65% bonus AD]
    • Base Vault speed increased from 400 to 500
  • Wolf's Frenzy (W)
    • Can now direct Wolf to a position within 500 units of Lamb before creating the hunting territory. Wolf can go over walls while travelling in this way. This range does not scale with Mark Of the Kindred stacks. 
    • Wolf now deals magic damage instead of physical damage
    • Wolf now deals an additional 1.5% of the target’s current health per attack as base damage, increased by 0.5% per stack of Mark of the Kindred 
    • AD Ratio changed from [40% total AD] to [20% bonus AD].
  • Mounting Dread (E)
    • Base damage lowered from 40/75/110/145/180 to 40/60/80/100/120.
    • Missile Speed of Wolf's attack increased from 1600 to 2000
    • AD ratio changed from [20% total AD] to [80% bonus AD]
    • % health damage changed from [5% max health damage] to [8% Missing Health damage, increased by 0.5% per stack of Mark of the Kindred]
    • [new] Jaws of Death :: Wolf’s attack critically strikes targets below 15% health for 50% more damage. Critical Strike chance increases the % health threshold for this critical strike to occur by 0.5% per 1% crit chance.

  • Piercing Light (Q) mana cost increased from 50/55/60/65/70 to 50/60/70/80/90

  • Ground Slam (E) Armor ratio increased from 30% to 40%

  • Sap Magic (Passive) - Cooldown and heal values adjusted.
    • Cooldown changed from [30/25/20 at lvl 1/9/15] to [30/25/20 at lvl 1/6/11]
    • Healing changed from [10-130 + (4.5-10.5% max hp )] to [10-70 + (5-13.1% max hp)]
      • OLD:  10/30/50/70/90/110/130 +[4.5/5.5/6.5/7.5/8.5/9.5/10.5% max HP] at 1/6/9/11/13/15/17.
      • NEW: 10/20/30/40/50/60/70 + [5/6.35/7.7/9.05/10.4/11.75/13.1% max HP]  at 1/6/9/11/13/15/17.
  • Sapling Toss (E):
    • Damage changed from [25/50/75/100/125 + 2% per 100 AP] to [25/50/75/100/125 + 1% per 100 AP]
    • [Sapling movement speed adjusted]
    • Brush duration changed from [30/40/50/60/70 seconds] to [30 seconds + 2.5 seconds per 100 bonus HP]

  • Call of the Void (Q)
    • Cast time lowered from .5 sec to .25 sec
    • [New] Post cast delay now .4 sec
    • AP ratio increased from 70% to 80%
  • Void Swarm (W) [Reworked]
    • Cost: 40/45/50/55/60

    • Health regen time lowered from 5 seconds to over 3 seconds.
    • Health regen value changed from (25 per level) to (5 + 10 per level).

    • Queen's Wrath:

  • Un-burrow (W):
    • Knock up targeting changed from AoE to to Single closest..

    • Furious Bite:
      • Damage changed from [80/90/100/110/120% AD] to [50/60/70/80/90 + 85% bonus AD]
      • Scaling per point of fury removed.
    • Tunnel:
      • Cooldown lowered from 26/24/22/20/18 to 26/23/20/17/14
      • Cooldown after use lowered from 10/9/8/7/6 to 10/8/6/4/2
  • Void Rush (R) - reworked!

Cooldown: 100:80:60 
"Passive: Dealing damage to enemy Champions Marks them for the next 5 seconds.

Active: Rek'Sai lets out a harrowing scream before burrowing underground seeking out a marked target. Moments later she leaps from underground, dealing 100/250/400 (+140% Bonus AD) physical damage plus 20/25/30% of their missing health."

  • Soul Furnace (W):
    • Cooldown lowered from 13 to 11
    • Shield % of max health increased from 6/7/8/9/10% to 8/9/10/11/12%

  • Steel Tempest (Q) duration for stacks of steel tempest  lowered from 10 to 6 seconds.

  • Stretching Strikes (Q) damage lowered from 40/60/80/100/120 to 30/40/50/60/70
    • Voiceover: "We're adjusting Zac's voice so it doesn't start getting higher as he loses health until he's below 30% health (rather than the current 60%). Its an effect we think should happen less frequently than it currently does (a 'Zac is pretty low' thing, not a 'Zac's somewhat hurt' thing)." - Meddler **

    • Plant Health changed from 4 to 2
    • Plant Spawn Rate (increased slightly)
    • "One change not in the article -- the passive is more likely to spawn two seeds instead of one at lower levels. It's on average around 1.5x as much as before in levels 1-5, about half that 6-10." - src.
  • Rampant Growth (W) - 
    • [removed] no longer increases plant health by 10/20/30/40/50%
    • [new effect] now causes plants to spawn 10/20/30/40/50% faster.
  • Stranglethorns (R) [new effect] Increases plant health by 100/150/200%

Abyssal Mask
  • Renamed from Abyssal Scepter.
  • Item icon updated.

Banshee's Veil
  • MR increased from 45 to 60
  • Total cost increased from 2700 to 3000

Blade of the Ruined King
  • Lifesteal lowered from 15% to 12%
  • Unique Passive's- Minimum bonus physical damage lowered from 20 to 15

Eye of the Oasis -[pic]
  • Total Cost lowered from 1925 to 1900

Ninja Tabi
  • Unique Passive's effect lowered from 12% to 10%.

Nomad's Medallion -[pic]
  • Total Cost lowered from 875 to 850
  • Combine cost lowered from 375 to 350

Talisman of Ascension -[pic]
  • Total Cost lowered from 2425 to 2400

  • All Changes Reverted in second update - back to live functionality. Axes had noted the previous change went to the PBE early and was experimental/concept.
    • No longer scales with 25% bonus armor.
    • [new] Now inflicts Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 1.5 seconds
