5/4 PBE Update: Splash, Chroma & Icons Tweaks, Balance Changes, & More

The PBE has been updated! As we continue  the 12.9 PBE cycle, today's patch includes tons of tweaks to splashes, chromas, icons, plus balance changes and feedback thread updates.

  • New loot assets are now on the PBE:
    • MSI Esports Capsule 2022
      • Contains LoL Esports related content.
    • Prime Gaming Capsule
      • 350 RP, 5 Mythic Essence, an unowned 1350 RP Skin Permanent, 200 Orange Essence, 5 Champion Shards, 2 Series 1 Eternals Shards, and a 30-Day XP Boost
  • Splashes tweaked:
    • High Noon Katarina (minor tweaks)
    • High Noon Talon (minor tweaks, Talon mouth changed)

    • High Noon Varus (minor tweaks, Talon mouth changed)

Hecarim
  • Rampage (Q)
    • bAD ratio increased from 85% to 90%
  • Spirit of Dread (W)
    • cooldown lowered from 18 to 14

Master Yi 
  • Highlander (R) 
    • bonus attack speed lowered from 25/45/65 to 25/35/45

Nidalee
  • Base HP lowered from 570 to 540

Renata Glasc
  • Leverage (Passive)
    • Damage changed from [1-3.5% (lvl 1-13) (+1% per 100 AP)] to [1-2% (Lvl 1-9)(+2% per 100 AP)]

Renekton
  • HP per level increased from 92 to 97.
  • AD per level increased from 3.75 to 4.15.
  • Battle Roar (W)
    • base damage per hit increased from 5/15/25/35/45 to 5/20/35/50/65
    • cooldown changed from 13/12/11/10/9 to 16/14/12/10/8
  • Dominus (R)
    • base damage increased from 40/80/120 to 50/100/150.

Rengar
  • Battle Roar (W)
    • bonus monster damage lowered from 85-150 to 65-130

Thresh
  • Dark Passage (W)
    • Shield value increased from 60-180 (+1 per soul) to 60-180 (+2 per soul)

Varus
  • Living Vengeance (Passive)
    • Minion AS Changed from [10-20 (+15% bonus AS)] to [10-20 (+20% bonus AS)]
    • Champion AS increased from 40 (+30% bonus AS) to 40 (+40% bonus AS)
  • Blighted Quiver (W)
    • On-hit damage increased from 7-21 (+30%AP) to 7-27 (+30%AP)

"Update: 
Hi all! Thanks for all your feedback. After discussing with the team, we'll be making the following changes: 
Splash: Unfortunately we're unable to completely change the pose, but we did adjust the shadow to help make her neck feel more connected. We then broke up her hair shape with more loos hair, and then added more local color to her face. 
Sound: We added some ricochets to the Q land and bells to the blades spinning to help push the thematic a bit more. There's also more bells and gunshots with the E. We know there was a lot asking for gun shot sounds and visuals for the R. Unfortunately there's a gameplay concern that it would read as Samira and loose the blade swiftness feel that's special to Katarina. 
VFX: Increased Smoke on Auto attack and ability reset. 
Icon and Emote: Some minor adjustments and added her beauty mark!

High Noon Talon

Update: Hi all! Thanks for all your feedback. After discussing with the team, we'll be making the following changes: 
Model: We've extended his blade! Thanks for this call out. 
Splash: We've adjusted his smile. 
VFX: We've adjusted his R Missiles so that the missile head doesn't compete with the the trail. The W spell now animates slightly. The W trail intensity was also reduce on the way back to increase blade readability.

High Noon Varus
"Update: Hi all! Thanks for all your feedback. After discussing with the team, we'll be making the following changes: 
Icon and Emote: We adjust both the icon and emote to make him feel more like Varus. 
Model: We hear you about wanting him to have long hair. Making a change like this, at this stage can risk an introduction of a lot of bugs. Varus will be keeping his shorter hair this time round. 
VFX: Added more elements into Varus WQ so it feels more powered up than regular Q. We also added some extra smoke to his W and the decal was slightly adjusted for better readability."
