Posted on at 2:40 PM by Moobeat
[Note: There was a small update on 5/8 but nothing too interesting as we near the end of the 5.9 cycle.]

[Update: Added in documentation of the new Attack move on cursor options and a previously missed Zed R change.]

The PBE has been updated! Today's update includes a splash art for the upcoming Star Guardian Lux skin, a file hinting at a potential upcoming Lee Sin skin, and a new "Instant Feedback" system!

Beta Test for Instant Feedback System

Here's Lyte with more information on the Instant Feedback System that is now enabled on the PBE for testing:
"Hey everyone,
We've just started a test of the Instant Feedback System on the PBE.
During this first test, player reports help the system recognize and punish instances of verbal harassment like homophobia, racism, sexism, excessive abuse and death threats immediately. We're starting with these exceptionally negative expressions because we already know the community emphatically rejects this kind of behavior.
If a player receives enough valid reports to trigger the system, within 15 minutes, the system will examine the case and determine whether the reported player behaved in a manner that should be punished. If confirmed, we email the player with the relevant chat logs and info about the appropriate punishment he or she will receive.
This is the first step in a plan for a new cohesive player behavior experience in League of Legends, and we’ll be talking more about this vision this month including how players can engage with the systems and contribute to making the community a better place."

  • There is a new attack move on cursor option  in the Game option menu.
  • Enabled: Attack move will prioritize the target closest to your mouse click
  • Disabled: Attack move will prioritize the target closest to your champion.

  • There was a lone file referencing a potential new Lee Sin skin included in today's update. It is a particle file named "Leesin_Skin10_Bell_Respawn.scb", referencing a Lee Sin skin that has not yet been previewed or released. While this may be a nod to an upcoming skin for Lee Sin, this is the only file there and there is nothing tangible to show.

Balance Changes

* Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.

  • Explosive Charge (E) cast time is now reduced by attack speed.

  • Death Mark (R) now has a 1 second cooldown after casting the spell to reactive and return to R's shadow.
