11/21 PBE Update: Snow Battle ARURF Champ Select Music & More

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 7.24 PBE cycle, this patch includes champion select music for the upcoming Snow Battle ARURF gamemode and more tentative balance changes!

Snow Battle ARURF Champion Select Music

The upcoming Snow Battle ARURF gamemode now has champion select music on the PBE:

"Summoners! We've got some exciting stuff slated for Snowdown this year, and we'd love for you to check it out on PBE. 
Snow Battle ARURF 
ARURF is back, baby! And it brought some winter goodness along for the ride. 
Summoner Spells:
  • Flash: The same old Flash you know and love, now with a 60s cooldown
  • Ultra (Rapidly Flung) Mark // Ultra (Really Fast) Dash: All that exercise has paid off -- champions can now throw snowballs really, really, really far. Who needs teleport when you can do this every 16 seconds:
Oh, and do you love Poros? Well, you'll be glad to know that you can now throw them at your foes in both Snow Battle ARURF and regular ol' ARAM. Just slap on a poro icon, and you'll be on your way. All the old poros are back: 
And they'll be joined by two new poros, Reindeer Poro and Baron Poro
New Champion Pool:
  • It's cold out on the Rift! Most everybody's inside by the fire, but all the champions who can bear the chill are still around to do battle.
  • All champions with a Snow Day, ice, frost, cold, or winter skin are available to play -- and their icy skins are locked in for you, whether you already own them or not!
Poro King 
It's the same Poro King you know and love. And the same poros, too! 
Snow Battle ARURF isn't going to replace classic ARURF -- it'll only be around for the winter, so jump in while you can.

  • As noted by Riot Orphyre on twitter, the Mecha Aatrox and Mecha Kha'zix chroma have been updated to keep some of their chroma color when transformed.

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

Champions

** Aurelion Sol
  • Voice of Light (R) cooldown lowered from 120/100/80 to 110/90/70

** Bard
  • Caretaker's Shrine (W) shrines active at once changed from 2/3/4/5/6 to 3/3/4/4/5

** Ezreal
  • Mystic Shot (Q) AD ratio lowered from 125% to 110%

Galio
[Note: Galio currently has other changes testing on the PBE!]
  • Colossal Smash (Passive) AP ratio lowered from 70% to 50%

** Ivern
  • Rootcaller (Q) cooldown lowered from 14/13/12/11/10 to 11/10.5/10/9.5/9

** Jarvan IV 
  • Dragon Strike (Q) damage lowered from 80/125/170/215/260 to 80/120/160/200/240

** Jhin
  • Deadly Flourish (W) damage increased from 50/85/120/155/190 to 60/95/130/165/200
  • Curtain Call (R)
    • AD reverted from 30% to 20%
    • Slow Duration reverted from 0.75 to 0.5 seconds
    • Minimum Delay Between Shots reverted from 1.25 to 1 seconds

** Karthus
  • Requiem (R) AP ratio increased from 60% to 75%

** Leona
  • Zenith Blade (E) damage lowered from 60/100/140/180/220 to 40/80/120/160/200

Runes
Fleet Footwork (P1)
  • AP increased from .2 to .3

Overheal (P2)
  • Shield from self healing increased from 30% to 40%

Celerity (S3)
  • Movement speed lowered from 4% to 3%

Context & Notes


1) Ricklessabandon noted more Jhin changes this sometime this cycle, as well as further rune changes:

2) Riot Maple Nectar noted some under the hood changes coming this patch for Kleptomancy:
"Oh rip! Didn't realize they made the build last night. That's what it is for now. Might be further tweaks/changes, but for now it's a revert of the 7.17 buff. 
Klepto has some more under the hood changes that are trickier to get into, but there's tweaks being made to the loot tables. The easy to understand change for it is that the bonus 25 range is being removed though. All in all, don't believe that the rune itself is far off from actually being balanced, rather it has a few champions that are able to abuse it far better than others (looking at you Ezreal and Sona). In cases where a rune is being abused by a small set of champions, but is fine on the rest, we're going to look to target the edge case champions rather than nerf the rune for everyone."
