11/20 PBE Update: Four New Skins, New Emotes & much more

The PBE has been updated! As we start the 7.24 PBE cycle, this patch includes 4 new skins, including Ambitious Elf Jinx, Santa Draven, and Snow Fawn Poppy, as well as Hextech Kog'Maw, a new ward skin, new emotes, & much more!

New Skins

Four new skins hit the rift in the 7.24 PBE cycle: Santa Draven, Ambitious Elf Jinx, Snow Fawn Poppy, and the loot-exclusive Hextech Kog'Maw!

Santa Draven

A new login is now on the PBE, themed around the 2017 All-Star Event!

Snow Battle ARURF

Files for an upcoming game mode are now on the PBE! Snow Battle ARURF's description:
    "A frigid fate awaits your foes! Fling spells and snowballs in this icy twist on ARURF, featuring League's coolest champions."
    Look for more on this later in the cycle!

    Preseason Healthbar Update v3

    Here's Rayven, back with more info on the still in progress Healthbar update:
    "How do you do, fellow kids? We’re back with another iteration on the healthbar update based on feedback. Let’s review what we’re trying to achieve here: 
    Feels
    - Familiar, but better (no relearning, no change to things like last hitting)
    - Game to game differences, not moment to moment
    - Interacting with objectives is more satisfying
    - Interacting with defensive windows is more satisfying (heals, shreds, etc)
    - Bodying fools feels better than ever. 
    Gameplay
    - Easier to track the flow of a fight.
    - More intuitive play/counterplay around defensive windows.
    - More intuitive play/counterplay around unique mechanics (extra life, unstoppable, etc).
    - Huge clarity gains when spectating and watching streams. 
    V3 Changelist
    - Ammo resources like Jhin, Corki, Annie have the same treatment as Live.
    - Lots of color tweaks and some sizing tweaks.
    - Lots of animation tweaks.
    - Tower burst, shake, and death animations are in.
    - Option to turn off shake animation coming this week.
    - Baron’s healthbar now stays in place rather than bouncing all over.
    - Resurrecting state improvements. 
    Future Stuff
    - Healing over time
    - Damage over time
    - Color code objective takes
    - Kill streaking
    - Stealth state

    • Two new poros have made their way to the PBE! The Baron Poro and Deer Poro are here to join the poro lineup in the Poro King gamemode! No details on availability just yet, but here is an in-game shot of their models:

    Balance Changes

    NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

    Champions
    Bard
    • HP regen increased from 1.08 to 1.5
    • Caretaker's Shrine (W) 
      • Shrines active at once changed from 3 at all ranks to 2/3/4/5/6
      • Range increased from 800 to 900

    Camille
    • Adaptive Defenses (Passive) shield duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 2 seconds
    • Precision Protocol (Q) recast for no cost time increased from 3 seconds to 3.5 seconds

    Corki
    • Base AD lowered from 63 to 59

    Darius

    • Hemorrhage (Passive)
      • Bleed damage increased from [10 - 27] to [13 - 30]
      • Noxian Might bonus AD increased from [30 - 200] to [30 - 230]


    Galio
    • Justice Punch (E) cooldown lowered from 14/13/12/11/10 to 12/11/10/9/8
    • Shield of Durand (W)
      • First Cast 
        • AP ratio increased from 4% to 5%

      • [New Effect] When Morgana's spells damage champions, large minions, or large monsters, she heals for 15/20/25/30/35/40% (at levels 1/4/7/10/13/16) of the damage dealt.
    • Tormented Soil (W)
      • [New Effect] When Soul Siphon is triggered, Tormented Soil's cooldown is reduced by 5%.

    Riven
    • Broken Wings (Q) damage increased from 10/30/50/70/90 to 15/35/55/75/95

      • Mana cost increased from 45/50/55/60/65 to 60/65/70/75/80
      • Bonus magic damage lowered from [20/30/40/50/60 (+20% AP)] to [10/15/20/25/30 (+30% AP)]

    1) Ricklessabandon on some Jhin and Rune changes he is working on:

    3) Riot Xelaadryth notes the removal of the beta SMS verification feature off the PBE:
    "We'll be removing the beta SMS verification feature from PBE in the next few days. The way SMS verification existed in PBE was not up to par with security, compliance, or scalability requirements. We'll be replacing it with more robust security and data privacy features over the course of the upcoming year."
