4/19 PBE Update: Chroma Tweaks & Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 12.8 PBE cycle, today's patch includes chroma assets tweaks & tentative balance changes!

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & potentially experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes from earlier this cycle! These are not official notes and may be incomplete.

Champions

Bard 
  • Traveler's Call (Passive)
    • Damage increased from 30 (+12 per 5 chimes) to 35 (+14 per 5 chimes)
  • Caretaker's Shrine (W)
    • Max heal increased from 55/95/135/175/215 to 60/105/150/195/240

Jhin
  • Deadly Flourish (W)
    • CC duration increased from 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s to 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25s
    • Damage no longer reduced against monsters
  • Captive Audience (E)
    • Cooldown lowered from 28-16 to 24-15
    • Damage no longer reduced against monsters

Kassadin
  • Null Sphere (Q)
    • Shield increased from 40-160 (+30% AP) to 60-180 (+40% AP)

Sylas
  • Hijack (R)
    • Cooldown lowered from 100/70/40 to 80/55/30

Vel'Koz
  • Plasma Fission (Q) 
    • AP ratio increased from 80% to 90%
  • Void Rift (W)
    • initial damage AP ratio increased from 15% to 20%

Xerath
  • Shocking Orb (E)
    • Stun duration increased from 0.5-2s to 0.75-2.25s

Zoe
  • Paddle Star (Q)
    • Mana cost lowered from 50/55/60/65/70 to 40/45/50/55/60
  • Portal Jump (R)
    • Mana cost lowered from 50 to 40

Olaf Mid-Scope Update
"UPDATE 4/13 
Tl;dr Olaf OP. Trimming some power.

W - Vicious Strikes
Early durability problematically too high, especially in the jungle
Base Shield :: 70/115/160/205/250 >>> 10/45/80/115/150
Missing health component now caps out at 30% remaining HP

R - Ragnarok
Tuning down passive resists now that he never has to lose them, and tuning down active AD bonus now that he has more base AD in the first place
Passive Resists :: 20/30/40 >>> 10/25/40
AD Bonus :: 15/20/25 (+30% AD) >>> 10/20/30 (+25% AD)

UPDATE 4/18
Trimming some top lane power and some tank shredding power.

Base Stats
Mana is meant to be less difficult to manage in lane now, but it goes way too far at the current numbers
Mana per level :: 60 >>> 50
Note that this is still increased from Live, where it's 42

Passive - Berserker Rage
Lifesteal cap :: 12-35% (by level) >>> 10-30% (by level)

Q - Undertow
It's a little too easy to ignore picking up axes in lane right now, and he's dealing with tanks too effectively
Cooldown :: 8 seconds >>> 9 seconds
Note that the minimum cooldown on axe pickup is unchanged
Armor Shred :: 25/27.5/30/32.5/35% >>> 20/22.5/25/27.5/30%

Lunar Eclipse Aatrox

Update in response to player feedback:

After evaluating the feedback, we've adjusted his sword to be as big as it can be without impacting VFX, we added more runes on the Q sweetspot hit, and more eclipse symbols on W. Additionally, for SFX, we brought up the W thematic trails, connected and updated proper Q3 assets (more thematic and low end on sweetspot hit).

Some suggestions either conflicted with other player feedback or with internal craft expertise, others (changes in his animations, color scheme for the Lunar Eclipse thematic, effects for game clarity, etc.) are out of scope for a PBE change. Thank you for taking the time to test Lunar Eclipse Aatrox! ♥
