11/2 PBE Update: 2015 Ranked Reward Loading Screen Borders & Summoner icons, All Star Emblems, & more!

The PBE has been updated and the PRESEASON PBE madness continues! Today's update includes new ranked reward loading screen borders & summoner icons, in-game emblems for the All-Star Team Fire and Team Ice summoner icons, wards leaving behind rubble, and another batch of tentative balance changes.

2015 Ranked Reward Summoner Icons

As we move towards the end of the 2015 ranked season, 2015 Ranked reward summoner icons are now on the PBE!  These will be distributed based on the rank tier you end the season in!

There is an icon for each of the three ranked queues - Solo, 3v3, 5v5 - for each tier. There are a total of  three sets of three Challenger icons as there are unique icons for challenger positions for 1-10, 11-50, and 51-200 for solo queue and 1-3, 4-15, and 16-50 for 3v3 & 5v5 teams.

2015 Ranked Reward Loading Screen Borders

As we move towards the end of the 2015 ranked season, the loading screen frames & ranked borders have been updated!

As previously announced, the frames now also include division markers to the left and right of ~where summoner names are.
You will receive a loading screen border based on the tier and division you end the season in on 11/11!

Silver Division 5 - 1
Gold  Division 5 - 1
Platinum  Division 5 - 1
Diamond Division 5 - 1
Blue Side, Red Side, Master, Challenger.
Here is the unaltered asset sheet including all the loading screens, with division 1 at bottom and five at top.

Vision Changes - Ward "Rubble"

After killing a ward, "rubble" now remains there for a short duration [not sure how long, as of the 11/13 update I've had some disappear in about  ~5 minutes while others in 30 seconds to a minute]

The blue circle represents a friendly ward that has recently been destroyed and the red circle represents an enemy ward that has recently been destroyed.

All-Star Summoner Icon Emblems

Similar to the icons from the 2015 World Championship teams, the new TEAM ICE AND TEAM FIRE All-Star team summoner icons include new emblem emotes.
Just like the 2015 WC summoner icons, equipping either of these new icons makes your mastery emote key (control + 6 by default) display the appropriate team's emblem.

For reference, here are the TEAM FIRE and TEAM ICE icons that were added in an earlier patch this cycle.

Ability Icons Update

To go with his other updated ability icons, Corki's W icon has been updated!


  • Centered champion splash assets for the rest of the champions have been added
  • Names of the Mastery trees have been correctly flipped - Ferocity (Red), Cunning (Purple), Resolve (Blue)

Balance Changes

Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.


  • The previously mentioned Death Timer changes seem to be reverted in today's update. [confirmed]
    • Growth time back to 35 minutes from 15 minutes.
    • Growth % back to 2% from 1%
  • Scarizard has noted that Dodge (Jax Counterstrike), Block (Pantheon Aegis of Zeonia), and Blind (Teemo Blinding Dart) will "interact different lwtih many of the games' on-hit and spell-attacks in 5.22 and on.
    • EXAMPLES: Pantheon's shield will stop effects attached to auto attack that is blocked, Pantheon shield will block a stack of TK passive (source) , Jax E can block auto attack based CC like Udyr Bear or Leona Q,  Nasus Q blocked by Blinds/Jax E/Pantheon Shield (source) , etc

  • Yordle Snap Trap (W) [tooltip fixed to correctly list trap snare length and trap duration.]

  • Passive's name changed to "Hextech Munitions" from "Hextech Shrapnel Shells"
  • The Package (Passive) Cooldown increased to 5 minutes from 4
  • The Package (Passive) movement speed reduced to 40% from 50%
  • Special Delivery Dash (Passive enhanced W) speed reduced to 1500 from 1800
  • Missile Barrage (R) damage reduced to 100/130/160 from 100/140/180

  • Passive's name changed to "New Destiny" from "Destiny"
  • New Destiny (Passive) now notes that structures take 25% reduced damage from auto attacks.

  • Bio-Arcane Barrage (W) damage to non minions reduced to 55% from 60%

  • Bonus damage for attacking behind while eye open increased to 15% from 12%
