New Skins in the Varus Patch + Additional info from PBE

Holy Moley! We have a lot of new skins. Included in the most recent PBE update, which included the upcoming champion Varus, are new skins for Morgana, Pantheon, Irelia, and Renekton, as well as one of Varus's release skins.

Please remember the videos below are TEASERS and may not reflect the skins final particles, animations, or appearance.

P.S: I'm ridiculously excited for that Pantheon skin as it reminds me of something  from my beloved Game of Thrones.

Edit #1: Looks like Slushe has gather a set of item changes from the PBE patch. The changes include a new item, Athene's Unholy Grail ( I can only assume this is Athene's referral reward ), as well as updates for several items that are already in game. A much needed change is some additional utility to Morello's Evil Tome, which will now have an on use similar to Executioner's Calling. Check them out below:

  • Curse of the Sad Mummy cooldown decreased from 170/150/130 Seconds to 150/130/110 Seconds
  • Health increased from 424 (+76 per level)  to 460 (+76 per level)
  • Incinerate mana cost reduced from 80/95/110/125/140 Mana to 70/80/90/100/110 Mana
  • Molten Shield
    • Duration reduced from 15 to 8
    • Armor and Magic Resist increased from 10/20/30/40/50 to 20/30/40/50/60
    • Mana Cost reduced from 25 to 20
    • Cooldown reduced from 30 to 16
  • Movement Speed increased from 315 to 320
  • Void Ooze slow reduced from  28/36/44/52/60% to 20/28/36/44/52

  • Glitterlance
    • Ability Power ratio reduced from +.7 to +.6
    • Mana Cost increased from 40/45/50/55/60 Mana to 40/50/60/70/80 Mana
  • Wildgrowth changed from "Lulu enlarges her ally, knocking enemies away from them." to Luluenlarges her ally, knocking nearby enemies into the air."
  • Alpha Strike
    • Old: Master Yi leaps across the battlefield striking up to 4 enemies, dealing 100/150/200/250/300 (+1) magic damage to each enemy with a20/30/40/50/60% chance to deal 400 bonus magic damage to minions.
    • New: Master Yi leaps across the battlefield striking up to 4 enemies, dealing 100/150/200/250/300 (+1) magic damage to every target. If the firsttarget is minion, it will be dealt 200/250/300/350/400 magic damage, and every additional minion target has 20/30/40/50/60% chance to be dealt 200/250/300/350/400 .
  • Highlander slow immunity increased from 6/9/12 seconds to 8/10/12 seconds
  • Meditate Mana Cost reduced from 70/85/100/115/130 Mana to 70/80/90/100/110 Mana.
  • Bullet Time ratio changed from 65/95/125 (+0.2) magic damage per bullet to 65/95/125 (+0.2) physical damage per bullet.
  • Double Up bounce damage increased from 115% to 120%.
  • Reckless Swing Cooldown increased from 8/7/6/5/4 Seconds 9/8/7/6/5 Seconds.
  • Damage increased from 53 (+3 per level) to 55 (+3 per level)
  • Desperate Power
    • Passive bonus mana per level of skill (75/150/225) removed.
    • New Active: Active: Ryze becomes supercharged, gaining 15/20/25Spell Vamp, causes his spells to deal 50% AoE damage, and gain 35/55/75 Movement Speed for 5/6/7 seconds.
  • Overload
    • Changed from 40/65/90/115/140 (+0.2) plus 7.% of his max mana in magic damage to 60/85/110/135/160 (+0.4) plus 6.% of his max mana in magic damage.
    • Mana Cost reduced from 70 to 60.
    • Range reduced from 675 to 650.
  • Rune Prison
    • Snare reduced from 1/1.3/1.5/1.8/2 seconds to 0.8/1/1.3/1.5/1.8seconds.
    • Plus max mana % in damage reduced from 5% max mana to 4.5% max mana.
    • Mana Cost reduced from 80/95/110/125/140 Mana to 80/90/100/110/120 Mana.
  • Spell Flux
    • Damage ratio increased from 50/70/90/110/130 (+0.35) magic damage to 50/70/90/110/130 (+0.35) plus of his max mana magic damage
    • Mana Cost reduced from 60/75/90/105/120 Mana to 60/70/80/90/100 Mana
  • Stand United global ranged reduced from 25000 to 5500.
  • Health increased from 448 (+82 per level)  to 487 (+82 per level)
  • Starcall
    • Magic Resist reduction duration reduced from 8 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • Mana Cost increased from 20/30/40/50/60 Mana to 20/35/50/65/80 Mana.
  • Armor increased from 18.5 (+3.5 per level)  to 20.5 (+3.5 per level)
  • Rake Mana Cost reduced from 60/65/70/75/80 Mana to 20/35/50/65/80 Mana.
  • Hungering Strike
    • Damage reduced from 75/125/175/225/275 (+1) and8/11/14/17/20 % of the target's maximum Health as magic damage, to 75/125/175/225/275 (+1) and6/9/12/15/18 % of the target's maximum Health as magic damage.
    • Mana Cost increased from 70/80/90/100/110 Mana to 80/90/100/110/120 Mana.

  2. Looks like Athene's Unholy Grail is going to be another powerful item for Galio.

    1. A very late game item for Galio. Rare that it will be used, but for those games that go long, it will be a very welcome addition.

    2. It often comes down to CoH being that item I sell at the end of the game to buy better ones, now I can just upgrade it

  3. they are kidding... why nerf Shen so much!?!... how is it supposed to work, if Shen is on the top lane for let's say 1/3 of each game? You wouldn't be albe to reach mid lane with such a f.d range... And from my experience bot lane need help in 95% of cases, so not being able to rescue eg. AD carry sucks. Now I regret buying Warlord skin...

    1. They nerfed his global teleport to be like Twisted Fates? Doesn't seem too bad to me... It just stops the endless split pushing.

  4. The nerf on the mana cost of Lulu's glitterlance is horrible. The decrease in the ratio was fine, but given her mana pool this makes it very difficult for her to exercise any kind of lane presence. She already had mana issues without a tear/archangels, and this makes it even worse. Your going to see lulus with no mana all the time if this is implemented.

    1. I thought it was to nerf AP Lulu, that shit was crazy

    2. Which is why I think the ratio nerf is fine. But Lulu's mana pool is small so nerfing the cost that much makes it hard for her to contribute in team fights. She needs to have enough free to be able to use wild growth while still doing something in the fight. It's already hard to save enough mana on an un-teared lulu as it is.

    3. Seeing as I upgrade Glitterlance last, this nerf wont effect me much.

  6. Are these changes good for Ryze? Anybody can tell me if he will be nerfed or buffed?

  7. Abyssal Scepter is dead with this new Athene's item. No one's going to bother building that for an extra 17 MR when you get a much better item that you can buy in smaller parts and for the same price gets you much much more.
