Champion Skins

Five new skins are now on the PBE for testing:

High Noon Samira

1350 RP
"The poster was straightforward enough: "WANTED: Tahm Kench - Devil, DEAD OR ALIVE", followed by a generous sum. Only the Mechanical Devil's got that kinda cash to pay. Samira ain't sure why the other bounty hunters seemed so spooked by a little ol' devil hunt. Well, let 'em shy away. This gunpowder witch don't scare easy."
[While not yet on the PBE, the splash art was shown off on Riot social media!]

Here's Riot Eneopa with a bugs & feedback thread for High Noon Samira:

High Noon Sion

1350 RP
"As soon as Sion knew life, he knew rage: rage that ripped the restraints from the operating table; rage that crushed the bones of those men who tried to play at the miracle of Creation; rage that he ain't, nor ever would be, the second clockwork angel they had hoped to construct. Sion knows rage, and so will the world."

Here's Riot 6armedrobot with a bugs & feedback thread for High Noon Sion:

High Noon Tahm Kench

1350 RP
"Tahm Kench is a magnanimous devil: happy to lend a magical sword to a lady in need, or to assist her in robbing the Sulfur Rail, or even to deliver her to a calamitous destiny as a fellow Harbinger of the End Times. He don't need no compensation. She'll just owe him a favor... because in the End, it pays to have friends."

Here's Riot Eneopa with a bugs & feedback thread for High Noon Tahm Kench:
"Hello All!

High Noon Twitch

1350 RP
"It starts like this: An ill wind blows across the desert, dessicated rats turn up in the streets, rotting under the hot sun. Then the traveling undertaker arrives. No one knows who (or what) he is, nor where he hails from... But it seems even Death has a bone to pick with the King of the Sulfur Rail. Another Harbinger arrives."

High Noon Viktor

1350 RP
"Many a road to Hell was paved with good intent. Dr. Viktor may be the Mechanical Devil's kept engineer now, but his work began as charity: trying to "rehome" the souls of the dead in clockwork bodies, in order to circumvent mortality itself. Shame that Mordekaiser saw the good doctor's kindness and struck him a deal he could not deny."

VFX Updates

Here's Riot Zhanos with details on VFX updates for Nami and Twisted Fate:

Nami

"Hello everyone!
Similar to the previous VFX updates we’ve made in the past (Leona, Orianna, Vel’koz, etc.), we're working on updates to the Visual Effects (VFX) of champions whose spell effects are in need of some love. Our aim is to get their VFXs to current League standards and improve gameplay clarity. Just like all the previous ones, and since these are smaller updates geared toward sprucing up some of the oldest members of the roster, they aren't in the same prioritization conversation as to how we decide who gets a VGU (where we take model, gameplay, and thematic into account too!): they do not affect any other timeline. In case you want to know more about the process, We have recently published an Dev Article (https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/dev/dev-behind-the-scenes-of-vfx-updates/).
It is now time for time Nami’s, targeted for the 12.10 patch! The update is focused on optimization and modernizing her kit. This update is focused on base and matching her older skins with that one, as most of her skins look great already!

  • Deep Sea Nami: Adjustments mirroring new base
  • SKT T1 Nami: Adjustments mirroring new base
  • Program Nami: Minor changes
  • Splendid Staff Nami: No changes
  • Cosmic Destiny Nami: No changes

We're looking for feedback on this update, which should be up on the PBE today. Please try him out there and leave us your feedback!"

It is now time for time Twisted Fate’s, targeted for the 12.10 patch! The update is focused on cleaning, modernizing his kit, and including details from we have seen in other representations of the character across Runeterra.
This update includes The Magnificent Twisted Fate, a legacy legendary skin that has received a new set of VFX, pushing the personality for this skin.
