1/15 PBE Update: Even More Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 10.2 PBE cycle, today's patch includes even more tentative balance changes!

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

  • Calibrum 
    • Q cooldown increased from 9/8.25/7.5/6.75/6 to 10/9.5/9/8.5/8
    • Mark damage changed from [20/25/30/35/40 (+30% bAD)] to [15 (+20% bAD)]
  • Severum
    • Q Damage changed from [35% bAD] to [30% bAD per hit]
  • Crescendum
    • Off-hand AD value changed from [1-2.64 (for 0-10 mini Crescendum)] to [1-2.23 (for 0-10 mini Crescendum)]

  • Inner Flame (Q) damage increased from 80/125/170/215/260 to 90/135/180/225/270
  • Focused Resolve (W) damage increased from 30/55/80/105/130 to 40/65/90/115/140

  • Armor increased from 28.22 to 29
  • AD increased from 46.368 to 47
  • Help, Pix! (E) cooldown lowered from 10 to 8

  • Dredge Line (Q) damage lowered from 80/130/180/230/280 to 70/115/160/205/250

  • Song of Celerity (E) 
    • ** not yet showing in game** haste % for allies increased from [10/11/12/13/14 (+3% per 100 AP)] to [10/11.5/13/14.5/16% (+4% per 100 AP)]
    • haste % for Sona increased from 10-14 (+3% per 100 AP)] to [25% (+4% per 100 AP)]

  • Frozen Domain (W) movement speed increased from 2025/30/35/40% to 30/35/40/45/50%
  • Pillar of Ice (E) slow increased from 15/25/35/45/55% to 20/30/40/50/60%

  • Hex Core Bugfix - "Viktor now gets his base mana per level (25) instead of hexcore mana value (5-15)"

[Changelist 1 / Changelist 2]
  • Crushing Blow (Q) damage amp increased from 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% to 5/10/15/20/25%
  • Warrior Trickster (W) cooldown changed from 24/21/18/15/12 to 22/20/18/16/14

  • ** Different than changelist!** Bouncing Bomb (Q) damage increased from 75/120/165/210/225 to 85/130/175/220/265
  • Satchel Charge (W) knockback increased from 400 to 500
  • ** Different than changelist!** Hexplosive Minefield (E) slow changed from 20/25/30/35/40% to 30/35/40/45/50%

Cloak of Agility
  • Crit Chance lowered from 25% to 20%

Frozen Heart
  • Armor increased from 100 to 110

  • Attack damage lowered from 55 to 50

Jungle Monsters
Rift Herald
  • Health lowered from 8250-16500 to 7125-14250

TFT Changes
These changes are tentative and may not be complete! Always refer to official notes for the full picture!
  • Chance for additional attack lowered from 40% to 35%

  • 3 champ health and duration reverted from 20% to 30%
  • 6 champ health and duration reverted from 80% to 120%

  • Ricochet bounces increased from 5 to 6/8/10
    • Vs Live: from 10 to 6/8/10

Context & Notes

1) Riot Scruffy provided changelists for patch 10.2:
"10.2 Patch Preview with a few additions. We have some work in flight for akali in 10.3 as well, but she's not in this list."

2) Riot Lutzburg provided a changelist for Wukong on the PBE, and noted they are looking into Clone bugfxes:

[2] "We're looking into the Wukong Clone XP bug. It's a tricky one, so no ETA on a fix just yet. In the meantime, try to avoid letting your clone take the last-hit on jungle camps on PBE."
Riot Lutzburg also tweeted we should see different values on PBE Wukong's Q damage ap next pbe patch:
"Experimenting with different values for Wukong's Q damage amp (5-25% from 10-20%).  Goal being to reduce his lane power slightly while amping his late game damage (especially for bruisers) since % damage scales stronger over game time/gold.  Available next PBE deploy."
As well as changes for his W:
"One more Wukong change: W CD adjusted to 22/20/18/16/14 from 24/21/18/15/12 
Trying to let him use his most iconic ability in lane phase a bit more often, while still giving opponents a clear window of vulnerability to exploit. Late game with CDR he becomes a very dashy boy"
