3/26 PBE Update: Hextech Jarvan IV Splash Assets & Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 9.7 PBE cycle, today's patch includes some of the splash assets for Hextech Jarvan IV, tentative balance changes, and more!

Splash Art Assets

The splash art for Hextech Jarvan IV should be headed to the PBE soon! Today's PBE update brings us the centered splash asset and loading screen image:

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

  • HP regen per level increased from .11 to .15
  • Conquering Sands (Q) damage increased from 60/80/100/120/140 to 70/90/110/130/150

  • AD reverted from 50 to 52
  • AD per level reverted from 2 to 2.5
  • Armor per level lowered from 3.5 to 3
  • Radiant Blast (Q) mana cost increased from 60/65/70/75/80 to 70/75/80/85/90
  • Celestial Blessing (W) 
    • AP reverted from 9% to 8%
    • Mana cost changed from 70/75/80/85/90 to 60/70/80/90/100
  • Starfire Spellblade (E)
    • Mana cost reverted from 60 at all ranks to 50/55/60/65/70 
    • Target's missing health as bonus damage changed from [10/11/12/13/14% (+1% per 85 AP)] to [8/10/12/14/16% (+1% per 100 AP)]
      • Vs Live: [10/12.5/15/17.5/20%] to [8/10/12/14/16% (+1% per 100 AP)]

  • Shadow Step (E) 
    • cooldown reverted from 22/20/18/16/14 to 21/19/17/15/13 
    • 50% cooldown on Shadow Assassin form reverted.

  • Zenith Blade (E) cooldown lowered from 13/12/11/10/9 to 12/10.5/9/7.5/6

  • Ice Shard (Q) cooldown increased from 6/5.25/4.5/3.75/3 to 10/8.5/7/5.5/4

  • HP/5 lowered from 5.5 to 4.5
  • Tormented Shadow (W) AP ratio (per second) lowered from 16% to 14%

  • Command: Attack (Q) damage reverted from 70/100/130/160/190 to 60/90/120/150/180
  • Command: Shockwave (R) damage reverted from 175/250/325 to 150/225/300

  • Base HP/5 lowered from 9.5 to 7.5
  • Chain Lash (Q) damage lowered from 45/70/95/120/145 to 45/65/85/105/125

Wit's End
[Wit's End has a new effect in testing on the PBE!]
  • Unique Passive - At Wit's End
    • Damage on hit lowered from 20-80 to 15-80
    • heal increased from 25% to 33%

Aftershock (R1)
  • [Reverted to live functionality.]

[1] Hey all! Here are the current planned changes for 9.7 though there may still be some additions or removals from the list. Will try to answer questions as I have time today if folks have any.
[2] Worth noting that we're not shipping Orianna or Aftershock changes that poked their head onto the PBE briefly
[3] It's highly likely that Aftershock appears again in the near future, but we didn't want to rush it out this patch.
