As we approach the LCS Playoff Finals, we're back with another edition of This Week in eSports!

The brackets and standings below are up to date as of Sunday, April 10th and, as always, VODs can be found here.

NA & EU LCS Spring Playoffs - Semifinals

The Semifinals of the 2016 LCS Spring Split Playoffs just wrapped up this last weekend! Finals will be taking place April 16th and 17th with two best of five matches for each region!

Here are updated brackets for each region following the Semifinals:

EU:
  • Origen defeated H2k 3-2 to move on to the finals!
  • G2 Esports defeated Fnatic 3-1 to move on to the finals
  • H2K and Fnatic will meet up for the third place match

NA:
  • CLG defeated Liquid 3-2 to move on to the finals.
  • TSM defeated Immortals 3-0 to move on to the finals
  • Liquid and Immortals will meet up for the third place match.

NA Promotion Tournament:

The NA Promotion Tournament took place this last week, after 4 total best of five matches, here's a look at the final bracket:

Renegades, Team Impulse, and Apex have qualified for the NA LCS 2016 Summer Split! Former LCS team Team Dignitas have been relegated.

Here's a look at all 10 teams for the 2016 NALCS Summer Split!


[Korea] LCK:

The regular season for the LCK has just wrapped up, playoffs are set to begin later this week!
Here are the final standings of the regular season:
  • Top Five (W/L)
  • ROX Tigers (16 - 2) 
  • KT Rolster (13 - 5)
  • SK Telecom T1 (12 - 6)
  • Jin Air Green Wings (10 - 8) 
  • Afreeca Freecs (10 - 8)


[China] LPL:

The regular season for the LPL has also just wrapped up, playoffs will be underway soon!
  • Top Four (W/L) - Groups A & B
  • Royal Never Give Up (13 - 3) 
  • EDward Gaming  (12 - 4)
  • Qiao Gu Reapers  (11 - 5) 
  • Team WE (10 - 6)


[TW/HK/MO] LMS:

The regular season is now over for the LMS, playoffs start on April 15th.

  • Flash Wolves - (9 - 2 - 3) - 29 Points

  • Riot has released a Player Spotlight featuring Perkz, the Outstanding Rookie of the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split!

  • [REMINDERRiot has announced the location for the 2016 World Championship, the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational, and the 2016 International Wildcard Invitational!
    • 2016 World Championship will be held across North America September 29th - October 29th
      • Group Stage: September 29-October 2 + October 6-9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA
      • Quarterfinals: October 13-16 at The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL
      • Semifinals: October 21-22 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY
      • Finals: October 29 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
  • 2016 International Wildcard Invitational will be held in Mexico April 16 - 23rd.
