Here we go again, except this time, it's for keeps! The World Finals are tomorrow between Azubu Frost and Taipei Assassins. The stream start with a pro player show match at at 5 PM PST so be sure to tune in! The actual finals matches will start up around 6:30 PM PST.
Read on for your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about the Finals!

First things first, you all want to know the schedule! The stream kicks off with pro player show match at 5 PM PST ( GMT-7 ). This will be a best-of-five match so it's sure to have some great games in it! The streams will be here on Twitch.tv and here on Own3d.tv

Riot made up this intense statistics page about the two teams competing for first place. It's a ton of information so if you want to see it, check it out here.

Riot also put out a really cool (albeit long) video about the making of the Summoner's Cup. This is the trophy that will be given to the Season 2 World Championships. I can say it looks really awesome and I would love for it to sit in my room. One can dream..

The stage is almost set and ready out in Los Angeles and Riot is pulling out all the stops! LOOK AT THIS THING! It looks like it has fireworks... I bet it has fireworks.
Here's a sneak peek at the stage Riot is setting up for tomorrow. Fancy!

Finally, here some details about how you can get the FREE Champ. Riven Summoner Icon during tomorrows games!
"Summoners,

Also, I’m excited to say that at 5pm Pacific on Saturday October 13, we’ll start the broadcast with a showmatch featuring some featuring some of the top professional players that have competed in the World Championship. Tune in at 5pm on www.leagueoflegends.com to see your favorite players compete on the Fields of Justice one last time."

    2. Notice the fact that they're playing in booths now? GG AF, can't cheat anymore.

lol jk, it'll be a great match. Irregardless of whether or not AF should be DQ, it's still gonna be awesome. Go TPA!

    3. What are you saying? AF doesn't need to cheat to win. They beat out CLG EU with pure skill.

    1. Yeah they did, they put walls around the playing areas, so they can't look behind them unless they make it extremely obvious by actually standing up and peering over the wall.

    2. Is it sad that I think they would get away with that too?

  7. Wait a second, are those covers that they seem to be placing behind the playing areas? Are they actually doing that so none of them can look back? Is Riot finally listening!?

  18. The players excitement almost does not fit in this picture.

But i really want to know:
    1) What happened to the neck of the first guy from the left to right? Who stoled it?
2)Why the guy at background of the first team has open arms? To show the size of the fish he caught?
3)Why the background guy of the second team has his finger raised? Is he asking the teacher if he can go to the bathroom?
    4) Look at the face of the second guy from right to left, i think he got a seriously stomach ache.

  25. But if you submit the code tomorrow, will I have time to get the icon still or not?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Can you guys just put the AF thing behind you already? They have determined how much of an impact it had on the match, took action accordingly (team got a fine, 30K if I remember correctly.), and then moved on. Even Regi, as emotional as he was after the initial loss with his pre-mature retirement announcement, admits that even if they did cheat a bit they still outplayed them and deserve the win. Why are you guys so concerned about this when it doesn't even involve you directly?
