If you are like me, you may have logged on and noticed your ranked teams no longer display their currently Elo or tier status despite completing the five required placement games. Thankfully, this isn't some sort of last minute change or anything intentional, it is simply a bug with the client.
Here is Yegg's response on the matter:
"This is a client bug that was unfortunately introduced with the patch.
Ranked teams still only require 5 games to become ranked and will still qualify for rewards after only 5 games. You just temporarily aren't able to see your team's rating if the team has played fewer than 10 games.
We're investigating the possibility of a hotfix since the end of the season is coming up shortly."

ReplyDeleteWe only played Twisted Treeline,however we played a lot of games,however someone said that you need to win 5 games in order to qualify for the rewards.
How can i check that?
My team is being displayed in the Ranked Teams (3v3) as a gold badge and 1587 elo.
Also my friends played games with some of our other friends so i havent participated in all of the played games.
afaik, if you are the original members and you have played more than 5 games you should be good to receive rewards. The 5 win thing, i believe, was just for people joining teams after Sep 1st

Some ppl say that, in 3v3, and 5v5 the current, and not the top elo will matter. Is that true?

DeleteYes you remember correctly, but some ppl say that, it only matters in SoloQ, and in ranked team, the Current Elo matters

ReplyDeleteI just play the game for fun, and really I feel all these changes are for higher tier players... Not just this, but most balance and gameplay changes. Honestly I feel that the majority oh players aren't playing for competive motivation, and all the new content seems focused around extremely dedicated players. I love riot but can we get some cool stuff just for the fact of being cool, that those who don't want to spend a fortune on a free game can enjoy?
