Season 2 Regionals: Seoul, South Korea

Last but not at all least, we have up for grabs the final spot at the Season 2 World Championships (S2WC)! Our Korean regionals are set to begin tomorrow.
I'Park Mall in Seoul, South Korea
Read on for information about this event.

This regional final is being held at the Yongsan I-Park Mall E-Sports Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. Beginning tomorrow (September 12th) and lasting all the way until September 21st, Korean teams will battle it out for their shot at glory! The winner of this tournament will join Azubu Frost as the second Korean team to qualify for the S2WC. The 2nd to 5th place teams from the Korean Challenger Circuit have qualified for this event.

It is going to be a single elimination, best of 5 tournament. Strangely, the final games of each round are supposed to be played as blind pick, instead of tournament draft mode. Weird, right? Every other game will be draft pick. Here are your teams playing for the ultimate win:
Azubu Blaze
  • Reapered - Top
  • Ambition - AP Mid
  • Helios - Jungle
  • Lustboy - Support
  • Cpt Jack - AD Carry
CJ Entus
  • LongPanda - Top
  • Dade - AP Mid
  • Eryuk - Jungle
  • kkinsh - Support
  • emboob - AD Carry

    1. It's a strange situation. The final game of each best of five will be played as a blind pick as far as I understand.

I doubt the world finals will be played like this.

  9. Well, the matches are kinda nice, but that one korean caster is just obnoxious. Always knows everything better and generally just pointing out how "bad" everyone is.

  10. Are you going to be posting the results and/or replays of the matches like you did in the NA regionals?

    2. I knew Azubu frost qualified earlier...but why? or how?

    3. Well earlier there was the Korean circuit. All of the Korean teams played and whoever came out in first place got an automatic bye into the season 2 world championships. So Azubu Frost won that and doesn't have to play in the regionals. C:
