NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

Champions
Aatrox
[Context - Not shipping, early testing!]

  • Umbral Dash (E)
    • healing increased from 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% to 20/25/30/35/40%
    • Cooldown lowered from 9/8/7/6/5 to 7 at all ranks
  • [Changed Effect] World Ender (R)
    • 160/140/120s Cooldown
    • "Aatrox reveals his true demonic form for 7/10/13s and begins to fill a Blood Well. The Blood Well stores all healing he takes during this time. At the end of the effect, or upon taking lethal damage, he heals depending on how full the Blood Well is.
During this time, The Darkin Blade has no cooldown and resets the cooldown of Umbral Dash. Additionally, Aatrox gains Movement Speed when not in combat with champions or turrets, 20/25/30% Total Attack Damage, and he fears nearby minions."

Context & Notes

1) Here's Riot Repertoir with context on the Aatrox changes now testing on the PBE:
"Going to send a pretty different version of Aatrox R to the PBE tomorrow. Notably no revive, much stronger R offensively. Probably not shipping this or anything too significant for him for 9.7, but wanted to get some stuff out there to test and talk about even if it's rough."
2) Make sure to check out Meddler's quick gameplay thoughts for March 20th, including this excerpt on balance in 9.7:
"A few likely balance targets in 9.7
  • A Lissandra nerf, aimed at pro power especially.
  • Morgana assessment, mid lane specifically. We didn't ship nerfs in 9.6 because we weren't certain enough they were needed. Planning on assessing again shortly, see if that was the right call.
  • A nerf to Dark Seal, which is currently filling both the safe early sustain niche and the supposedly risky snowball niche. Likely that nerf includes a much lower sellback value as a result so it's a more of a gamble to opt into it.
  • Wit's End experimentation, aimed at making it a more relevant item. We're 50/50 on whether we'll ship something still, expect changes to hit PBE at least however.
We'll have some other work in 9.7 as well, those are the projects we're sufficiently confident will be getting some time to talk about right now though."
3) Here's Riot grymbojr with a bugs and feedback thread for Dunkmaster Ivern:

"Ivern jukes past Darius. Gets the ball from Daisy. Takes it to the paint. He shoots! HE SCORES!!!
Dunkmaster Ivern is dunking his way onto the Rift, featuring:
  • New model and texture! - Featuring brand new kicks and hair to boot. Daisy has a new outfit too!
  • New particles! - BASKETBALLS! FOAM FINGERS!
  • New SFX: - Hear the cheer of the crowd! The blow of the whistle! The buzz… of the buzzer!!!
  • New recall animation! - Practice makes perfect.
Dunkmaster Ivern is ready to shoot some hoops on the PBE! If you’ve got feedback, we’d love to hear it. Bugs? Send them our way and we’ll take care of them. We’ll do our best to answer your questions!
Dunkmaster Ivern is set to be 1350 RP.
