Below you will find a comprehensive list of new content, balance changes, and whatever else  is included in the current PBE cycle! Be aware that these changes are extremely tentative, there is a possibility that things you see below will be changed or even reverted prior to the live patch.

New Champion Skins

The 6.12 includes new Dark Star Thresh (1820 RP) and Dark Star Varus (1350 RP) skins!

Dark Star Thresh

1820 RP

For his /laugh emote, Dark Star Thresh pokes his lantern and displays a picture of various space based champions and skins -  Astronaut Teemo and Nautilus, Bard, Aurelion Sol, Taric and Lucian.
For this /joke, Dark Star Thresh... erm... acquires a pet.
Above picture shows his lantern changing VFX after gathering 40 souls!
Dark Star Thresh changes colors to red when he lands a hook.

    "Dark Star Varus is a corrupted warrior pulled into Dark Star Thresh's twisted orbit, Dark Star Varus extinguishes worlds in the name of a greater cosmic horror. 
    During production, we liked to imagine this version of Varus as what he would have turned into when corrupted by Dark Star Thresh
    • Completely new model! (inorganic space terror!)
    • Completely new VFX! (dark space and cosmos, and a fancy new cape!)
    • Completely new SFX! (sinister space sounds!)
    • New recall! (gravitational fields!)
    Dark Star Varus is set to be 1350 RP*.

    We also have a new Dark Star Ward skin to go with new Dark Star champion skins!

    New Summoner Icons

    We also have three new summoner icons to go with the new Dark Star skins! 
    KateyKhaos mentioned on twitter all of these will be 250 RP on launch and that the Oblivion Icon (the dark orb) will be 1500 IP for a short while!

    Dark Star Thresh Login

    While we've already seen the login theme on the official youtube channel, Dark Star Thresh's login theme is now on the PBE!

    "One For All" game mode live on the PBE for RGM queue testing

    The One for All gamemode is now back on the PBE for addition RGM queue testing!
    "Heya guys! 
    One For All is back, and as One For All-y as ever! 
    There haven't been many changes since the last time One For All came around, however we did make the following changes:
    • Taliyah is now fully compatible with One For All!
      • Taliyahs will only be able to see their own worked ground on their team, while enemies will see all of the worked grounds.
      • Taliyahs now have fully independent Q/W/E/R from one another, meaning there can be a lane full of Taliyah E's all with their own max trap count! :D
      • Rocks. So many rocks.

    Champion Mastery in ARAM/TT live for testing on PBE 

    Champion Mastery on ARAM and Twisted Treeline is now up for PBE testing!

    As the title says, champion mastery is now available to earn in ARAM & TT up to level 5. \>o</ 
    As with RGM modes, levels 6 & 7 will not be available. For more context around this you can see a post from Riot Socrates here:

    •  /remake strings updated slightly on PBE.
    • As of 6/6, Ascension game mode is back up on the PBE for continued RGMQ testing.
    • The Tab screen timers now uses the elemental/Elder dragon icons to show which spawned or spawning soon.
    • The chat call out when a dragon is slain now specifies which dragon was killed.

    Balance Changes

    Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.


    • Gatling Gun (E) - reworded with slight changes.
      • Total damage increased to 80/140/200/260/320 from 80/128/176/224/312
      • Ticks per second increased to 4 from 2
        • Shred stack cap unchanged but Corki should be able to get there twice as fast.

    • Seastone Trident (W) % of target's missing health reduced to 4/4.5/5/5.5/6% from 4/5/6/7/8%
    • Playful / Trickster (E) cooldown increased to 18/16/14/12/10 from 16/14/12/10/8

    • Force of Will (W) AP ratio increased to .8 from .7
    • Scatter the Weak (E) AP ratio increased to .5 from .4

    Xin Zhao
    • Base health increased to 600 from 591.16
    • Health growth increased to 92 from 87

    Bilgewater Cutlass
    • Price lowered to 1500 from 1650

    Essence Reaver
    • Attack damage increased to 70 from 65

    Hextech GLP-800

    • Unique Passive - Eternity spending mana restores 20% of the cost as health, lowered from 25%

    • Doran's Blade, Doran's Ring, Doran's Shield, Wicked Hatchet, Arcane Sweeper, Lightbringer, Entrophy, Orb of Winter, 
      • (Guardian's Horn has been changed significantly, still uses same name / icon though.

    ARAM - Items Added:
    • Refillable Potion, Corrupting Potion

    ARAM - Changed Items
    • Oracle's Extract
      • Effect now persists through death.
      • Added "feature from the red trinket that displays "red shadows" of things inside brushes"**

    • Guardian's Orb
      • +250 mana removed
      • +10 Mana regen per 5 added.

    ARAM - New Items:
    • Three new items added to replace the Doran's items, you can only purchase one - Guardian's HornGuardian's OrbGuardian's Hammer.

    Summoner Spells
    • Two changes to go with the ARAM Aura change:
      • Self mana restore increased to 50% of maximum mana from 40%
      • Allies mana restore lowered to 25% from 40%

    Double Edged Sword (Ferocity Tier 2)
    • No longer has a different effect for ranged champions - [Changed to Deal 3% additional damage, take 1.5% additional damage] from [Deal and take 2% additional damage.]

    Fervor of Battle (Ferocity Tier 6)
    • Damaging champions with abilities now grants 1 stack down from 2

    Natural Talent (Ferocity Tier 3)
    • Values changed! End values (2 AD & 3 AP at levl 18) same but now has a higher base value and less per level increase. 
    • 1/5
      • NEW TOOLTIP: Gain 0.4 + 0.09 per level Attack Damage, and 0.6 + 0.13 per level Ability Power (+2 Attack Damage and 3 Ability Power at level 18)
      • OLD TOOLTIP: +2 Attack Damage and 3 Ability Power at level 18 (0.11 Attack Damage and 0.16 Ability Power per level)
    • 5/5
      • NEW TOOLTIP: Gain 2 + 0.44 per level Attack Damage, and 3 + 0.67 per level Ability Power (+10 Attack Damage and 15 Ability Power at level 18)
      • OLD TOOLTIP:  +10 Attack Damage and 15 Ability Power at level 18 (0.55 Attack Damage and 0.83 Ability Power per level)

    Veteran's Scars (Resolve Tier 3)
    • Health increased to  10/20/30/40/50 from 9/18/27/36/45

    Grasp of the Undying (Resolve Tier  6)
    • Now [deals 3% of your max health and heals you for 1.5% of your max health] from  [steals life equal to 2.5% of your max health]
    • NEW TOOLTIP: "Every 4 seconds in combat, your next attack against an enemy champion deals damage equal to 3% of your max Health and heals you for 1.55% of your max Health (halved for ranged champions, deals magic damage)"
    • OLD TOOLTIP: "Every 4 seconds in combat, your next attack against an enemy champion steals life equal to 2.5% of your max Health (halved for ranged champions, deals magic damage)"


    The following content has been testing on the PBE but will not be going to live in the patch.

    6/6 LCU PBE Alpha Update -  Collections

    The PBE League Client Update Alpha has been updated to include the  collections tabs - which shows the champions you own, runes, masteries, and summoner spells.

    Here's CapnBranFlakes with a post on today's PBE LCU Alpha update:

    [LCU] May 18th Update - Profile.

    As the League Client Update continues to test on the PBE, the update profile page now working on the PBE LCU! Here's CapnBranFlakes with more information:

    We shared some information yesterday about a preview of the Profile page -- it's now accessible on the PBE alpha client, and still just as barebones as mentioned in that link. Reminder! We'll roll out more fleshed-out Profile pages in the coming weeks, so until then, please continue to keep your testing focused on Summoner's Rift and ARAM.

    Here's a few pictures of the updated profile page, which is still very much a WIP!
    While the back ground will change based on recently frequently played champions, using an ultimate skin icon will switch your background to an animated version of that skin - Examples: Spirit Guard UdyrDJ SonaPulsefire Ezreal.
