Preseason 2021: Mythic & Legendary Items Preview

"Over the past few months, we've discussed our gameplay plans for Preseason 2021—a complete overhaul to the item system. 
We're about to debut on PBE for an extended six-week testing period, and want to share a preview of the 22 new Mythic items you can look forward to this November, plus a few dozen new and updated Legendary items. This isn't a complete picture of all the item update has to offer, but we wanted to focus our first look on the splashiest item tiers. 
Housekeeping note: Things will be in a pretty early state when you first see them, but expect changes to things like icons, item and effect names, visual and sound effects, stat values, and more as we polish everything up over our month and a half of PBE time! Barring massive table-flips like item additions, removals, or reworks, though, this preview page won't be updated after publishing. The item system will be immensely changed in preseason, and documenting our fine-tuning to that overhaul before it's live won't actually help players understand what to do on day 1. When the patch notes come out, they'll have all the details as usual.

+10% Omnivamp vs. monsters 
Tooth & Nail: Damaging monsters burns them for (2% Bonus Health) (+10% Ability Power) (+5% Bonus Attack Damage) magic damage over 5 seconds. Monsters who would die to the burn die immediately. 
Ashen Path: Smiting 5 times consumes this item to upgrade your Smite to Challenging Smite and grant the effects of this item permanently. 
Huntsman: Killing Large Monsters grants 60 bonus experience. The first Large Monster killed grants 150 bonus experience instead. 
Leyline Walker: Regenerate up to 8-15 (lv 1-18) mana per second when in the Jungle or River, based on missing mana.

Here's a couple of non-item changelists from Riot Scruffy that should be hitting the PBE with preseason changes in the 10.21 PBE Cycle!
[1] "As we approach PBE for the item system overhaul we wanted to prime some more high level changes and their goals.  
Critical Strike: 
-Bring a bit more power into the early curve and slightly less exponential payoff 
-Broaden the choices for champs building crit"
[2] Definitely don't worry that this will be a crit champion nerf, we have shifted the power from crit damage into other stats. Our goal on overall power is no change.
[3] Also worth noting - we will do preemtive changes on champs with crit interactions (yasuo, yone, tryndamere) to make sure they are similar power to live and have dynamic choices in the system without having to go over 100%.
[4] Another non items related Preseason Preview before PBE. We're testing a very simplified version of a midlane agency reduction.  
Small resource reduction and stronger push threat to punish roaming excessively.

Jungle - doing very light changes: 

-Increase pathing diversity by making camp resistance more uniform 
-Expose some hidden mechanics visually to help newer players learn the jungle 
-Slight reduction to the power of kiting camps"
Riot August added:
These are the champion specific changes going to the PBE today (9/29) for preseason.  
The goal of most of these changes is to ensure the champions work correctly with the new item system while maintaining compelling build choices.
