For those of you who remember Riot's announcement of the end of season one at this years Dreamhack, the details have been posted for the contest that nets you a grand prize of a trip for you and a friend to Dreamhack. Check out the post below for details and start working on your video today! The deadline is less than three weeks away, so make sure you submit your entry to contests@riotgames.com before May 22nd.

Your Dreamhack Comes True Contest!


Summoners, here is your chance to go to Dreamhack and get some rockin’ Razer gear too. 


Do you love League of Legends? Want to celebrate competitive gaming at the biggest LAN party in the world? You’re in luck! Riot Games is offering to send one special summoner to Sweden for Dreamhack, but we want to learn more about you. Here’s the challenge:


Make a 90 second video proving why you love League of Legends and why Riot should send you to Dreamhack.


Much as we hate to restrict your creative genius, here are some guidelines:
  • No nudity, nothing inappropriate or illegal! Keep it viewable for all audiences.
  • This must be your video, created and filmed by you for this contest! No re-using cool movie clips, stunt footage or anything.
  • Submissions must not exceed 90 seconds in length.
  • Submissions must be uploaded to YouTube and include your summoner name and region in the description.
  • The title of the video must include “Your Dreamhack Comes True!”
  • The video can include other people, but only the person who submits the video will have the chance to win.
  • The video should be in English or any of our other supported languages such as German, Polish, Spanish or French.

We’ll select the best, brightest, most exciting and heartfelt videos and send one lucky summoner and a friend to Sweden to attend Dreamhack from June 18th-21st! Riot will supply travel, accommodations and some spending cash to enjoy a weekend at the hugest LAN in Europe. That’s not all; there are also some special Razer prize packages to give away for runners up!

To enter, send an email to contests@riotgames.com with a link to your video uploaded to YouTube. Be sure to include your summoner name, server region, and the country you live in. You must be 18 years of age; check the Official Rules for more information. The contest entry period closes May 22nd, so start filming right away.
